Caspian was established thirty years ago in 1984. At that time, it was focused on the residential market and concrete subcontracting. By 1987, Caspian was acquiring medium to large sized projects and establishing itself as a contractor of quality work.

Caspian's creative approach to construction was evident in the much-revered Leo Mol Sculpture Garden in Assiniboine Park and the beautiful sculptures and fountains in Central Park in downtown Winnipeg. The leap from a concrete subcontractor to a general contractor begun as Caspian joint-ventured with a major firm to build Costco Wholesale stores across North America.
