Services
All employees are salaried and not paid commission, which ensures you are receiving unbiased advice at all times. We offer low Management Expense Ratios (MERs). We offer a wide range of reputable, no load, low cost financial products. There is no cost for new members to move their financial products to Tradex.
Tradex is Canada's not-for profit mutual fund company. We receive revenues from management fees from the Tradex funds as well as trailing service fees from other funds. Then, after covering our operational cost such as salaried employees and regulatory costs, the surplus is rebated to the three Tradex funds annually.
Our staff members are not on commission - they are all salaried employees. They are experienced and knowledgeable investment specialists, with over 80 years of combined service in the financial industry. Their goal is to provide you with the best professional client service available based only on your needs.
Tradex is dedicated to following best practices in corporate governance. We are governed by a 10 member Board of Directors - 9 of whom, including the Chair, serve in the spirit of volunteerism and are completely independent of management. These nine individuals are all current or retired senior public sector or quasi-public sector professionals.
One independent Tradex investor is appointed to each of our three Fund committees along with two independent directors of the Manager. The committees meet on a quarterly basis to make recommendations on investment policies and monitor the respective Funds.
