Dr. Kazdan and Dr. Solomon are general dentists who provide a broad range of dental services in a modern comfortable dental office, including family dentistry, teeth cleaning, dental sealants, fillings, full service dental checkups, teeth whitening, porcelain veneers, dental implants and more. Additionally, we will work with your insurance company to bill them directly for applicable services whenever possible.
An emergency dental service could refer to a number of dental issues. This might mean something as simple as a sore tooth or facial pain, to more serious issues like a fractured tooth or broken tooth. If you think you are experiencing a dental emergency, it's important that you contact us as soon as possible.
Dr. Steven Solomon grew up in the central Toronto area attending AY Jackson Secondary School. With A keen interest in math and science, Dr. Solomon attended the University of Toronto with a major in biochemistry. After 2 years of undergraduate studies he was accepted into the dentistry program at the University of Toronto and completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1990.
Dr. Jonathan Kazdan was born and raised in Toronto. After attending Forest Hill Collegiate Institute, he enrolled at The University of Toronto and graduated in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroanatomy and Psychology. In 1990, he graduated as a Doctor of Dental Surgery from The University of Toronto's Faculty of Dentistry.
Our energetic and hard working Office Manager has been an instrumental player with the dental office since it's opening twenty four years ago. Born and raised in Kitchener, Ontario, Rochelle is devoted to providing all patients with optimal care and attention. Patients are more than welcome to direct any insurance or financial questions to her.

My crown met a big problem this year. Since my tooth had root canal before and it is the last tooth in the back, it left only a small top which makes the crown installation very difficult. Dr. Solomon helped me to negotiate with the crown lab and made me a new free crown, and found a way out to reinstalled it. He would explain the details to me patiently every time. Thank you so much Dr. Solomon. I finally got a heathy tooth for the Christmas meal! Lol

Avoid avoid avoid. Scam artists. Everyone I know who went to this dentist eventually left after they figured out that, for this team, profit comes well before quality care.
Beware, they will check your insurance policy and lie to you to get more money. None of my family grinds our teeth, but somehow we were all told we needed mouthguards. Convenient that that suggestion came about as soon as it was covered, all within the same month! They are rude and price gouge for non-covered procedures too. They will subtlety lower your esteem to attempt to charge you for cosmetic treatments. One assistant

The Oakville Place Dental Office has always provided exceptional service to me! The staff are extremely caring and wonderful people who truly want to help in improving your dental health. Dr. Solomon has always been a great dentist and has never wasted my time. Stacy, the dental hygienist, is also very patient as she took the time to answer all of my questions. Meghan at the front desk also provided exceptional customer service as well. When going to the Oakville Place Dental Office, I know that I will have a great experience!

My family and I have been going to Oakville Place Dental Office for about 15 years and I decided to give them a shout out. I personally ‘hate’ going to the dentist but Dr. Solomon makes my experience better than I always think it will be. He’s gentle, kind and caring and makes appropriate referrals when necessary. He always does his best to accommodate his patients (during business hours) in emergency situations. All staff and dental hygienists are professional, efficient and friendly. I love Jana, Darlene, Bella and Catherine. If you’re looking for a dentist, this is the place I recommend

I cracked my tooth over the weekend and was in a significant amount of discomfort. I was seen by Dr Kazdan early Monday and given antibiotics and an appointment on Thursday to have it extracted. Everyone is always super nice at the clinic, from the admin (especially Bella!!) to the hygienists and the doctors!
Dr. Fortino took my tooth out without incident and I am no longer in pain! Yay! He also did my daughter's wisdom teeth earlier this year and is a super nice, knowledgeable and efficient doctor. Highly recommend this clinic!!

I have been a client at this dental office since I was a teenager and they have provided excellent service to me to this date (in my late 30s now). Today I am inspired to write a review for this place as time and time again the Dentists and staff at this office have come through to help me especially when in urgent need. Last night a piece of a wire of my permanent retainer came loose and was causing me great discomfort whereas it was painful to chew food or even talk. This morning I called my orthodontist for help and they were not able to take me in until Sept. 21 and advised me to call my dentist

I have seen Dr. Solomon since I was in university over 25 years ago, and even though I live in Toronto now, I always come back to Oakville for my dentist appointments. When you find a dentist you trust, it's worth traveling a bit for them, and the staff are great fun, friendly, and helpful. It feels great to walk in and you are known by name from… everyone Best of all, they're good at making sure I feel as little pain as possible - people talk about root canals as if they were the worst thing ever, but I was like I felt almost nothing. Highly recommend.

Myself and my family are customers for about 3 years. I always recommend the clinic to all of my friends. However, when I called today morning 8:04am to explain the situation I have and the need to see my dentist to check and recommend the right action for my case. I have been told we are fully booked and we can’t accommodate you. I re-explain the… need to come to the clinic to be quickly checked and I have asked for them to leave a note for my dentist and get back to me either way.
It is 2 hours now and didn’t receive a call back!!!
