Pricing was ok. But wait very unsanitary. Example bathroom tap slimy the tap handle fell off soon as I touched it. Crumbs under the headboards on the carpet. Mildew all around base of baseboards and vanity and tub. Spider webs hanging off the ceiling. I could go on. Someone needs to let the Calgary health department know. Not good specially if you have allergies etc. If I could I would give a - star instead of one.

I used to love coming to White elephant. The food was good authentic. BUT this time it was a huge let down.
It took me awhile to find the spot because they relocated and there were not signs to show which entrance it was.
They were still in the process of relocating. The food wasn't great compared to before. It looked sloppy and tasted just ok. I don't know if they were having an off day because of the move. But I'm not sure I'd want to come back..

Don't Ever book a room here. Worst inn ever manager is rude. The room was so dirty sheets were not clean and towels were not changed. There was no toilet paper and when we ask on the front desk they said no and that they won't provide. Manager was so loud and very nosy. Very disappointing. Not worth the money.

Not recommended. Not cheap. Very basic hotel, small room, small bathroom, 1 desk lamp for the hole room on the opposite side of the beds. Only one plug on the opposite site of the beds and no table to put your phone(s) to charge. 2 large towels for 4 adults. Small flat-screen TV. No coffee nor coffee pot in room nor lobby. No fridge. Only 1 vending machine for pop and 1 ice machine for three (3) floors of rooms. No room service. No pool. Restaurant walking distance.

There should be option for 0 star. Worst experience ever. Rudest and racist receptionist one with white hair and glasses. We submitted a complaint and wanted refund for our day 2 and that lady even denied us to talk to manager. Ket changing her statment. Made us wait for 2 hours to get a negative response . please dont go here . Illegal activities were happening right in front and she said its none of your business. After that there worker accepted she might have forgotton to clear garbage and sink but still we didnt got refund.

Absolutely horrible!
We could only enter the hotel through the main entrance, and had to walk to the other end of the hotel. I had two elders with me.
Luckily at the very end there was an elevator, but it was rickety and didn't even have an inspection paper in it.
When I checked in, I asked for a room with two Queen beds, but we were given only double beds. So a bad sleep.
The toilet got plugged, because the water pressure was horrible, and the lady tried to blame us, saying it was too much toilet paper.
Then to top it all off, we were charged $130 for the room!
I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN
