Candice's dream was always to become a independent dental hygiene practitioner and has been pursuing that goal since becoming a Dental Hygienist. After many years of planning and researching she has now been able to fulfill her dream and open Baseline Village Dental Hygiene. At Baseline Village Dental Hygiene, we believe that everyone deserves optimal oral health and hope to provide easier access to this in our community.
Candice started her career in the dental field as a registered dental assistant in 2002. Although she loved being a dental assistant, Candice knew that becoming a dental hygienist was always her goal. In 2008 she attended the Canadian Institute of Dental Hygiene in Hamilton, Ontario and was registered with the College of Registered Dental Hygienists of Alberta in 2010.
Regulations enacted under Alberta's health professionals act (effective November of 2006) allow registered dental hygienists to provide services in a variety of practice settings in addition to a dental office. We accept direct billing from most insurance companies. If you have concerns with coverage we can send a preauthorization prior to your treatment appointment.
At Baseline Village Dental Hygiene, our clinic is committed to educating and empowering our patients to make the right decisions when it comes to improving their overall oral health. The experience was good. The only problem that I have was the recommendation of Mill Haven Dental. They charged my wife $69.00 even thou they couldn't do the necessary work of color matching a filling. She was under the impression from the dental office prior that they would be able to color match. After she got there and waited 20 minutes in the dental chair she informed that they couldn't guarantee a match .

Candice and her team has made the ‘dental experience’ anxiety free! Everyone is helpful and friendly, I’ve always found teeth cleaning to be painful and stressful so I avoided going regularly until I found Baseline Village Dental Hygiene. Candice takes pictures of my teeth before and after the cleaning so she can show me any problem spots, I really appreciate being involved in my own dental care and treatment rather than just being told I need a filling etc. and having to trust I’m not being ripped off. Overall, the Baseline Village team provides top tier dental care that is affordable

Candice is a remarkable dental hygienist. Pat of that is her high skill level. Part of that is her authentic, friendly and engaging manner. In addition, she is highly ethical in a business where, unfortunately, many practitioners are more interested in their income than in what’s best for their patients. Can’t say enough good things about BVDH. I have switched many family members over here. Candice is the best, and Jessica is fantastic too. As the business owner as well, Candice goes above and beyond in making sure her patients are well looked after. She has pointed me in the right direction on issues requiring referrals. Oral health is clearly her passion and I am secure in knowing I will never be charged for any unnecessary X-rays or other procedures. The physical office space has walls to the ceiling so there is no safer dental office during the Covid-19 pandemic. I would pay extra to have

I love coming to Baseline Village Dental Hygiene! The service is excellent, and I love dealing with all of the staff! Ashley provides awesome customer service! Candice is a great hygienist with tons of knowledge and experience and a logical, kind, professional and dedicated approach to her practice and patients. I feel so blessed that we have someone like Candice to go to, as I'm confident I'm getting a service/treatment that is based on what I truly need, and not about how much money she receives for the treatment.

PLUS, I just went for my first teeth whitening appointment yesterday at Baseline Dental Hygiene, and WOW, what a transformation!! LOVE the results! The teeth whitening treatment was budget-friendly, and only took half an hour. Win-win!
I highly recommend booking an appointment - you will not be disappointed!
