There will be times when you just can't determine what your pet is suffering from or you know what the problem might be but you need help solving it quickly. That is where our part of the team takes over. We have a group of experienced veterinarians and veterinary technicians who will diagnose the problem and offer a recommended course of treatment.

They will likely be your first point of contact when you call for an appointment. When you arrive at Cranberry Hill Animal Hospital, you can expect quality care for your pet. When you arrive you will be greeted warmly as we check you in. There is also a very good chance that you may be met by our "Walmart greeter" - Mack. Please don't panic if you see him laying around, if you are not fond or apprehensive of this "beautiful" looking pet please let the staff know and we shall move him back to his sleeping pillow.
Since Dr Kelly Ferguson acquired Cranberry Hill Animal Hospital from Dr. Lamb in 1990 the hospital has been providing a range of veterinary services and health care for Kemptville and surrounding area pet owners' dog and cat companions. Our clinic focuses exclusively on dogs and cats. We provide a variety of services through the lifespan of your pet from kitten/puppy to adult to senior.
Our practice believes in being part of the community and giving back to them where possible. We support many fundraising events with gift baskets for silent auctions. Our doors are always open to community groups such as Beavers, Summer Camps, Brownies etc. Angela Beach our Veterinary Assistant is running and raising money for this charity.

Can't say enough good things about the Cranberry Hill team. They are knowledgeable, kind and take the time to listen and then give thoughtful advice. I started bringing my rescue dog to Dr. Kelly and team a year ago, and have found the service I've received to be very worth the 30-min drive from Ottawa.

We have been coming to this clinic for a number of years now with our two labs and have had great experiences until recently.
One of our labs was bumped from his anual check up last month for an emergency (words that the receptionist used) which we 100% agree with as we would want any animal in an emergency to have priority.
Unfortunatly, one of our labs was injured and needed medical attention right away. When my wife called and explained the situation to reception, she was told that the clinic was completely full that day and they don't take emergenies. But wait, last month we were bumped for

The staff at Cranberry Hill are absolutely amazing. My 12 week old puppy, Sophie, saw Dr Katie for her shots and she was wonderful.
A couple days later, Sophie had an accident at home and was bleeding. I was distraught but the wonderful staff at Cranberry Hill got Sophie in right away to check her over. She was okay, thank goodness.

Very impressed with Dr.Kelly and her team! Everyone was super nice and accomodating! My dog can be reactive so extra measures were taken to accomodate her and myself. The most thurough and percise exam I have ever seen, attention to detail and care were top notch!! Very happy I made the decision to switch vets to come here!

I have absolutely nothing but wonderful things to say about all the staff at Cranberry Hill. They are professional, kind and compassionate. They truly care about the wellbeing of my pets. Our Most heartfelt thanks to Dr Katie Welmers, Chantal RVT and the entire team at Cranberry Hill Animal Hospital. Jack had surgery yesterday and is recovering well. Our experience from beginning to end was exceptional. Compassion, empathy and support all the way through. We Thank you all so very much for taking such good care of our Big boy ❤️🐶❤️

The vet clinic is extremely clean, friendly, knowledgeable and caring.
I've had normal appointments and sadly the one you never want to have.
They were extremely caring, they didn't rush me, helped explaining / talked with me, it's never a good event. They made us as comfortable as you can be in that scenario.
They have very friendly and caring stuff that goes the extra mile for you / your pets.

I have been taking my own pets as well as many of the rescue dogs I work with to Cranberry Hill for over 3 years. I have experienced nothing but the best from the front line staff at the clinic from the VA's to the Techs, and the Veterinarians are top notch. Dr. Kelly Ferguson is truly one of the most knowledgable and caring veterinarians I have ever met. If you are looking for a vet clinic, I highly recommend Cranberry Hill! Even my pets love them :)

The staff at Cranberry Hill are absolutely amazing. They are friendly and knowledgeable, they always have our pets best interest in mind while being able to give us care options. Our GSP recently cut her leg and needed care, they gave me a same day appointment and gave her staples. The procedure took all of 5 minutes and it is healing perfectly.
I have been using this veterinary service for 10 years now and have never ever had any issues. They follow up to see how my dogs are doing after any procedure, they will space out shots so it is not so hard on our dog's. They are always friendly and answer

Dr. Laurie and her assistants were amazing in helping us. We had to say goodbye to our 15 year old golden retriever and she was so compassionate, caring, hands on and showed so much empathy. I couldn't have asked for anything better. They sent a card in the mail a few days after with their condolences.
