Focus Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic
We had to close our doors and switch to virtual appointments for several weeks, but are happy to announce that we are back in the clinic seeing patients again! We are continuing to do virtual rehab appointments for any patients who have symptoms that will keep them out of the clinic, or for anyone who feels more comfortable working with their therapist from the comfort and safety of their home.

Things will look different in the clinic now, as we have made many changes to comply with Manitoba Shared Health standards of operation during this unique time. Patients are not allowed in the clinic if they have any cold or flu like symptoms or have traveled in the previous 14 days, and all patients are required to wear a mask, sanitize hands and maintain 6 feet physical distancing (other than with their therapist).
Services
Physiotherapists treats a variety of conditions, from minor injuries to more serious ones. At Focus Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic, you will be given a comprehensive initial assessment, including a detailed history and physical exam.

Following the assessment your therapist will provide you education regarding your injury, and outline a detailed treatment plan including an approximate number and frequency of treatments, in-clinic treatment options and a home exercise program.
Physiotherapy is the treatment and prevention of physical injuries and movement problems. Physiotherapists use education and preventative measures such as exercises to help patients gain the highest possible level of independent function. Physiotherapy is a very active form of treatment. You will not recover from your injury by just lying on a table and your therapist 'fixing' you.
