Services
There are several styles of adjusting within the chiropractic profession and this can be confusing sometimes to someone new to the chiropractic experience. There is one thing that should be clear, however, and that is the goal of the adjustment. The goal of a chiropractic adjustment is to restore a subluxated/misaligned spine to its proper motion/alignment thereby removing stress to the central nervous system.
1. Print of one of our colouring sheets and have the kids colour them. The kids can either bring their creation in to the clinic for us to see in person (we will be putting them up for everyone to see), or you can take a picture of it and send it to us by email at familyfirstwpg@gmail.com. You could also take a picture, post it on your social media and tag our clinic.
As spine, muscle, and nervous system experts, chiropractors provide qualified, effective treatment to promote health, alleviate pain, and improve your quality of life. Chiropractors focus on your spine, muscle, and nervous system and treat the bones, muscles, soft tissues, and joints that you use every day.
At the heart of chiropractic is the spinal adjustment. A chiropractor, in attempting to restore and maintain optimum health, locates and corrects spinal subluxations to enhance nervous system function. This corrective process is called a spinal adjustment. The chiropractic adjustment is a specific application of a gentle force utilized to correct subluxations.
In simplest terms, a subluxation is when one or more of the bones of your spine move out of position and create pressure on, or irritate spinal nerves. Spinal nerves are the nerves that come out from between each of the bones in your spine. This pressure or irritation on the nerves then causes those nerves to malfunction and interfere with the signals traveling over those nerves.

I took my 8 week old baby here to Dr. Danella for a suspected tongue tie. Upon arriving the staff greeted me and were very warm and friendly. My sons name was even on the welcome new patients board which was super sweet. Dr. Danella took her time with her assessment and was great at explaining everything and treatment plan. She also showed me different stretches to do with him when I'm at home. I highly recommend her especially with babies! In hindsight I wish I took my other son who had reflux issues to her instead of a year of no sleep. Only feedback is there's no signage on the door or window

This is an amazing chiropractic and wellness centre. It's the only one I bring my babies to, even though I live on the other side of the city. Danella is so knowledgeable about what it really means to facilitate health and not just just the popular opinion. This clinic came highly recommended and they really did come through in helping both of my daughters, especially my first who had some complications after birth. Danella is so great with the kids and she helped me so much during both of my pregnancies. The staff is wonderful, organized and very accommodating. Love that we have seen the same face (Kim) at the front since we started going there about seven years ago! Great place for the whole family!

I am very impressed with Dr. Whittakers results driven treatment plan for my 9 month old son and I. There has been a big improvement in my son's ability to nurse in just a few visits. I appreciate that she treats each patient as a whole and lends her expertise. After a quick assessment she knows exactly where to adjust me and has pointed out where I need help even when I have not become fully aware of it yet. I look forward to seeing what she can do for my husband.

Dr. Danella has helped our family so very much over the years. I saw several chiropractors throughout my life before finding her and I'm so very glad to benefit from her care. After a nasty car accident, her adjustments were invaluable in returning us (our two children included) to full health. Dr. Danella has been a miracle worker for me. After seeing different chiropractors since I was 10, she has effectively cured me of my Migraines. Before seeing her and working with her I would get several migraines a month. Some I could work through, others would require dark quiet rooms. After working with Dr. Danella, I am so lucky to only have maybe 4 a year now!
She genuinely cares about what is going on with you and goes out of her way to make sure
that you are taken care of. All 3 of my children are patients of hers as well! We all absolutely adore
