If there's a slight chance that someone may have suffered as a result of the accident, then you must file the claim. Otherwise, if you choose not to file it, you won't have the insurance policy to protect you from a lawsuit. To begin, please contact the insurance company directly to put them on notice of the claim.
As the capital of Newfoundland and Labrador, St. John's is home to hundreds of incredibly unique homes filled with even more unique individuals, businesses, and belongings. The last thing you want, expect, and need is to encounter a disaster. Disasters like fire damage, water damage, or explosions are devastating and expensive.
Third Party Public Liability at $200,000 and Uninsured Motor Coverage are the mandatory coverages. Although $200,000 is the required minimum, many insurers do not offer this limit as it viewed as too low in the context of our society. At Crosbie Job Insurance, we would recommend $1,000,000. We also highly recommend that all insured people carry accident benefits coverage.
As a business owner, you take calculated risks every day to keep your business thriving. But what about the risks you haven't considered? Business insurance is an excellent way to allow you to concentrate on profit without being blindsided by unexpected liability. The costs associated with a business insurance policy are small compared with the large risks that you'll protect against.
