Our specialties include Corporate and Commercial litigation, Employment litigation, and Estate litigation. Our team also has experience with Environmental law. In general, we do not offer flat pricing for a given service (aside from one hour consults and some notarization services), as the complexity and time involved varies from case to case.
SMM Law Professional Corporation is located in Suite 205 of the Fleming Building at 1005 Elgin St West, near the Northumberland Mall. The rear entrance is also accessible; there is an elevator which can bring you to the second floor. Be patient if our team is running behind schedule. We do our best to avoid keeping anyone waiting, but also work to ensure that all of our clients' needs are met during their appointments.
As always in the winter influenza months, we continue to have hand sanitizer greeting you in our reception area. We also have client meeting rooms that are large enough to respect the current social distancing recommendations. For over twenty years we have been using email and telephone conference calling whenever suitable to consult with clients.

I have used their services both professionally (Incorporating my business, shareholder agreements etc.) and personally (home purchase and Will) and can't recommend them enough. Their staff are all knowledgeable, professional and seem to genuinely care about you (at a reasonable price). Added bonus is the office was recently renovated so you don't feel like you're walking into the set from an 80's movie (seems to be the Cobourg norm). Over all excellent experience. Would highly recommend.

I found this law firm to be above average in excellence as was Sarah Jacob. You can't always make a consideration based on the odd bad review by contemptuous individuals who are never happy with anything, including themselves. It is obvious that this above person needed to blame someone for the deal falling through and it was convenient blaming the law firm instead of himself. You do a stellar job Sarah!!

REAL ESTATE NIGHTMARE! My purchaser walked away from the deal with 72 hours until close....and Sarah Jacob at SMM Law DID NOTHING ABOUT IT! He walked away scott-free. Filed complaint with Law Society of Upper Canada.....told me too bad. DO NOT USE THIS LAW OFFICE, or you will come to regret it, I assure you.
