I last minute called to make an appointment and they managed to get me in sooner than expected. As a first time client I didn't know what to expect. Jocelyn was without a doubt one of the best stylists I've ever had my hair done with! I never felt rushed. In fact she stayed late to make sure the process was done correctly. Incredibly professional and welcoming environment. Will be returning. Thank you again ❤️

Literally save your money. Went to a stylist named Jocelyn (@jocelyn3103) and she rushed my hair, leaving me with something completely different than I asked for. They do not know how to do ethnic hair, which is fine. However lying to your clients saying you can is unacceptable. High prices for poor services. Terrible experience.

I saw Madison in September 2020, and it was a fantastic experience from beginning to end. I was 8 months pregnant and felt very safe with the COVID protocols they had/still have in place. Madison is lovely and super skilled. I showed her a couple pictures of an older haircut I wanted again, and loved her final result. I also love the Aveda products they use!
Until the salon is reopens, I’m supporting by buying a gift card for my next visit. ❤️ can’t wait!

Follow the rules everyone else is having to follow. Greed is not very becoming when people's lives are at stake. Every business is facing financial issues. They think they are above other salons and now above other people and business owners..And they are not as good as they claim. They state they follow every protocol and safety precaution. Clearly not all measures or they would have also followed the safety protocol of closing like everyone.

This salon is amazing, my family and I booked haircuts all together but a family emergency came up thus we were running late. They were super accommodating even welcomed our dog to come in and stay cool during our cuts.
My stylist Melissa was great, she was calm gentle and listened to exactly what I wanted. Highly, highly recommend her! After having a whirlwind morning it was great to have a blissful cut that felt clean and sanitized (especially during COVID-19).

I am new to Guelph and first time to Acqua Salon. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Bri was fabulous! she knew exactly the cut and style I was looking for and offered some great suggestions for in… between care too. The salon was very clean (sanitized as well), bright with lots of mirrors for a great look. I loved the products she used on my hair so much that I bought a bottle of the mousse for at home styling. I will be back and maybe will add some colour next time!

Extremely overpriced! I was charged $650.00, I have medium length thin hair! I asked to have my hair coloured to a chestnut brown for the winter and a TRIM, I was so shocked at the price after everything was done as other salons I have gone to In the recent past have never charged over $340.00 for the same work. The girl had an extremely rude attitude as well and just wanted to rush and get it over with. When I returned home my boyfriend mentioned my hair was extremely uneven I took a mirror and looked into my other mirror and it was off by at least an inch on the one side! I will NOT be returning

I had a terrible experience here. It was about two years ago, but I just wanted to warn others that high prices and a beautiful storefront do not always mean you will receive great service. I think my stylist's name was Taya Tucker. She very quickly listened to what I wanted and started my hair. But then shortly after she had 2 different trainees/co-op students ? Finish and the one was so rough when using a brush to comb out my wet hair. They were asking her questions like they weren't too sure what they were doing. And by the end of it, Taya was long gone. The trainee styled my hair

Acqua Hair Salon is a good salon with staff who know how to provide a good atmosphere and really good cuts. I went in on August 25th, and I was greeted by friendly staff who did not hesitate to spoil me in every way possible. Though was a "walk in" on a rainy day, I was quickly accommodated and I was given Taylor, a young stylist who is still learning. I was glad to have her and grateful for the head and neck massage I received with an Aveda product before washing and cutting began. SOOO Good!!! Acqua is a pretty great spot to get your hair did in Guelph. It is an Aveda concept salon as well, which comes along with a set of ideals and products that give the place a neat feel. Haircuts come with complimentary hot towel, scalp massage, and beverage (coffee/delicious herbal tea/Hot apple cider + spiced rum if you're lucky).
