My name is Dale Trach. I have over 40 years combined drafting, residential & commercial construction/renovation and Inspection experience. During high school, I was drafting drawings for and constructing cabins & houses. From high school, I completed 2 years of a pre-Achitecture degree at University of Manitoba.
A detailed Inspection of the particular units interior, including the electrical, heating & plumbing systems, interior finishes, etc., much like the the inspection of any home, . A general "walk-through" of accessible common areas of the condominium building. These include the exterior, roof, underground parking garage, mechanical & electrical rooms, common hallways & meeting/recreational rooms.
A typical Home Inspection should take approx. 2.5 hours for a condo & townhouse to 4 hours for a detached home. This can vary, given the current condition, age and size of the home, the accessibility of mechanical systems, and so on. I visually inspect the major systems of the house. This inspection is non-invasive and non-destructive and includes the Roof, Exterior, Structure, Electrical, Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, Insulation, and Interior.
The final report, which is a Portable Document Format (PDF) file, is stored securely online & downloadable from any client computer. After the Inspection is completed, the unedited Report is reviewed on site with the client. The Inspection Report is edited, proofread & delivered by email prior to the end of the day.
The following is a generic standard Contract that is emailed to the client prior to the Inspection for their perusal and is digitally signed.
1.1 The Client understands that the word "Inspector" as used in this Inspection Contract means and includes NewLook Inspections, including its employees and individual inspectors, whether an employee or independent contractor and/or that independent contractor's company, and acknowledges and agrees that this Inspection Contract will apply to the Client and the Inspector as defined.

Dale inspected our future House within one day of our request! He was thorough, professional and explained everything as he went through the house from Rooftop to Crawlspace!
He went through his findings as soon as he was done and we had a Digital copy on our computer early that same evening.

We had Dale inspect two different places for us (first place fell through due to red flagged by insurance). He did a fantastic job, answered all our questions, and answered my multiple questions after the inspection was done (emailed him sooooo many questions) thoroughly. I recommend him for anyone! So happy with the inspection on our new home as we are first time home buyers. He was wonderful.
