Was looking to get my dog spayed, and this vet was accommodating to begin with and scheduled me appropriately. I then called 2 weeks prior to ensure I had the correct drop off time, and notified the staff that I am a health care worker, I would be working night shift the night before the appointment, so I was going to be sleeping and unable to answer the phone for confirmation, so just to consider the current phone call the confirmation, and they agreed. We switched our pets to Wascana Animal Hospital when we moved to the east end of the city, and I’ve never had a complaint. The vets and staff and all very welcoming, professional, and knowledgeable, and you can tell they genuinely love and care for the animals they see every day. The office has relaxing music and hormone diffusers to help calm down anxious animals, and they can even get our neurotic chihuahua to chill out (which is no small feat). Absolutley in love with the staff here (specifically Oreon and Dr. Ulmer). I took my kitten in to be spayed and they were very kind and patient with me (and her) the whole time. They answered all of my questions very thoroughly, always took the time to explain to me everything that happened and what needed to be done. My kitten had a burn on her paw so she was very cranky but the vet staff never made any negative comments on her cattitude!! I know she’s a lot to deal with when she’s mad so this was very much appreciated. When they called me to say she needed lol antibiotics, they went over

If you are looking for an amazing vet, filled with caring individuals, look no further. Wascana Animal Hospital was extremely clean and welcoming. My Pup loved the attention he got from all of the workers and can’t wait to go back to see his new “friends.” I worked with Jane, she was fantastic and very knowledgeable. Jane made sure I left the vet with every question I could think of answered. I have been to a few clinics in the city, but none have exceeded my expectations like Wascana Animal Hospital. Thank you!

Attended Wascana Aminal Hospital to get our day updated vaccines and to check a chipped tooth and new rash. The Staff was helpful and got us in quick. The Vet was informative and gave us treatment options for both the rash (which was diagnosed as allergies) and the chipped tooth. One option for the chipped tooth was even to go to a specially oral vet outside their practice. Nice to feel heard and not pushed into more treatment.

We took our 16 year old dog to Wascana Animal Hospital because she was having some age related issues. The vet was very friendly and caring. She answered all of my questions and suggested that we try some supplements and fluid therapy that have worked very well in the two days since our visit. Our dog had very stiff arthritic legs, some kidney problems and continual gunky eyes. She is walking more easily now, they cleaned her eyes which has made her more comfortable, and she definitely has less incontinence. Thank you Dr. Stewart and Wascana Animal Hospital.

Our 12 year old cat was diagnosed with diabetes last week. The care provided by Dr. Stewart was excellent. She put my mind at ease, provided our options and answered all my questions (and I had a ton!). The support staff are very professional and are quick to respond to the clinic’s online chat or phone calls. Would definitely recommend this clinic! Kitty is doing well!

In the words of Tina Turner , simply the best! Dr Potts is our go to and has been for years, but we recently had the pleasure of dealing with Dr Ulmer. Both have literally saved our fur babies’ lives and are super compassionate to deal with. They take the time to call and check in how your animals are doing after procedures, and patiently listen to your crazy babbling😉. If you are in need of a new veterinarian, look no further!

We are so happy we take our dog and cat to Wascana Animal Hospital. We have seen more than one doctor there and, each time, they are so caring, kind and compassionate. You can tell the whole staff just loves animals. The vet technician has also been so helpful with our numerous questions regarding our new puppy. The support staff have all been wonderful and empathetic as well. Honestly, everyone there is a delight to deal with.

We have trusted our four legged family members with the team at Wascana for over ten years now. Even when we… moved further away, we elected to stay with the team at Wascana vs. switching to the veterinarian in our new home town...they are just that good. Shout out to Wascana Animal Hospital. The entire staff took every step to give our sweet Lucy the best care possible before, during and after she was spayed. They treat your pet like their own and really do go above and beyond. We are so happy this clinic exists! We have complete faith/trust in Dr. Potts and Dr. Ulmer. Thanks again!
