I normally order Chinese food for New Year's eve. I have been ordering from Golden Lake for quit a few years. They have good food, good service and very organized considering how very busy it is on New Year's. The girls that work there are very helpful and friendly. Keep up the great work and food.

Just ok, ordered a couple of dishes this evening. Sesame chicken was cold and dry, you could tell it had been sitting around for a while. Beef Lo mein was good but again not the freshest. Spring rolls were probably the best of the three, hot and crisp. No plum sauce or soy sauce included in the bag either, will probably try a different place for chinese next time.

We were disappointed with our order as it was not the standard Golden Lake quality that we regularly receive. I thought that a telephone call to the restaurant to express our unhappiness would be better than writing a negative review for a place that we have ordered from and thoroughly enjoyed for years. After sharing our households findings of our order with the person that answered the phone, I was asked, "what do you want me to do about it?' and informed that "nobody else complained." Average tasting food, the food is either a hit or a miss at times.
The fried rice lacks flavour, it's very dry and bland.
The black pepper beef taste was good, but majority of the dish was filled with green peppers.
The chop suey dish was the worst. Felt like this dish was falsely advertised. It said "chop suey + dry noodles = chow mein". All we received was bean sprouts and a bit of celery and two pieces of broccoli.
Overall, depends on the dish ordered. Some will taste delicious some will be disappoitning. Learn from the mistakes and not to order the bad dishes again. One bonus, they offer

This is hands down the best Chinese food!!! The genera Tao chicken is real juicy chicken and when we ask for extra sauce they never disappoint! Thy always give a lot and don't rip you off! The noodles always seem fresh and hot when when we pick up the order! If you want delicious Chinese food that doesn't make you feel terrible... then try this for sure !!

All the food is tasty and authentic Chinese food! Great value and has a decent amount of assorted veggies in the noodles/rice which is nice. I also like how the takeout isn't overly greasy or salty. Definitely better than a frozen dinner from the grocery store. I enjoy the bbq pork the most. The people working there are nice too.

This is my family's go to Chinese food take out restaurant. We order here every few months and enjoy it.
Honestly, the taste is rather basic. It's exactly what your expect, doesn't blow your mind but it is still really tasty. We do keep going back so that definitely says something!
They get the food to you really quick and hot when delivered and the prices aren't bad. You get discounts when you pay cash and free rice if you order over a certain amount (I believe $35).
They don't like to give out much soya sauce though... Even when you do ask for extra soya sauce they

Ordered general tao and orange chicken. Came fairly quickly. When i arrived home they sent me my orange chicken and sweet and sour chicken. Called them and lady told me it was tao and if it had "pineapples, green peppers".. Ive tried it and tasted nothinf like general tao. Tasted like sweet and sour..
Besides the orange chicken had no taste. And they bread the chicken so much you cant even taste the chicken

My go to for (Chinese food) delivery. Foods pretty decent and I really enjoy their wonton soup. Always a pleasant group to deal with, delivery is fast and they don't forget the fine details such a soy sauce etc.
I thoroughly enjoy their grilled dumplings. They are plentiful and the filling is flavorful.
The number 9 combo is my go to combo meal. It's a good variety, you get chicken fried rice, beef & vegetables and 3 chicken balls plus a spring roll and wonton soup for $12. Amazing value for very good quality food.
I do enjoy their barbecue pork, it is leaner than I'm accustomed
