We offer a wide range of services including: medical, general surgery, x-rays, in-house laboratory workups, endoscopy/laparascopic surgery, rehabilitation services and preventative health care needs for your pet so that they live a longer, healthier and happier life. One of the best things you can do for your pet is to keep him or her healthy.
What to Expect As a new client of our practice, you can expect our full attention to you and your pets' needs. Our services are provided with honest, fair compassionate patient care. When you arrive for your appointment, our receptionist will greet you and check you and your pet in for your appointment.

Emergency Process If you have an emergency with your pet during our regular hospital hours, please call the office immediately for assistance. Parkdale Animal Hospital is a member of the Emergency Veterinary Clinic of Waterloo. The Emergency Clinic is available to serve you when your pet must receive medical attention after our regular business hours.
This office has something special about it. All who work here are so loving and caring. We never met the original vet who's practice this was but he set a atmosphere of true love for animals that is felt in every person who works here. The new vets are just as amazing to us. Dr Jonathan went thru a horrible time with our Minnie being so ill.

Took my dog there three times. Each time, I asked what the cost would be. They conveniently forgot to disclose that there is a mandatory exam fee. The first time, I spaced out the first two vaccine shots, they charged me an exam fee both times - the shots were a month apart. This place is not transparent about their fees so it is hard to trust if they are going to do the right thing for your dog or if it is just about making a few extra bucks.

My critters have been cared for by Parkdale for 8 years and our experience has always been excellent! They have worked through puzzling symptoms with my medically complex cat and were diligently checking in on his progress, even between our very frequent appointments! The Parkdale team has also been respectful and understanding, going out of their way to ensure the most positive and safe visits for my behaviourally complex dog. We are very grateful to have such a superb veterinary practice taking care of our pets' needs!

Extremely friendly staff that keep you updated on the status of your pet the whole time you're there. My cat is normally extremely anxious around people, but even he felt at ease.
The doctors and techs made sure to explain any and all procedures before going forward with them, made sure I was always aware of the cost, and answered all my questions

There has never been a doubt in my mind that Missy is getting the absolute best care she could possibly get when she visits Parkdale. While I've never been inside the doors myself due to Covid precautions, I know my dog adores the staff there and going to the vet is never an unpleasant experience for Missy because of their amazing efforts and hearts of gold.

We absolutely love and trust Parkdale Animal Hospital. In our experience, the staff has always been extremely friendly and knowledgeable! They’re always there to answer any questions we may have, or to explain our dogs needs/medications in detail! Dr Uyede always remembers Milo - and the staff treat him extremely well! We recommend Parkdale to anyone with a pet of their own!

My son's wonderful cat Mistie was ill the Covrid virus made it almost impossible to get her help as everyone claimed they were to busy and did not care that this was an EMERGENCY. Parkdale did not hesitate to help her. They truly showed not only compassion but sheer concern for her welfare. Sadly Mistie was to ill with fluids pushing onto her lungs and we had to put her down. The doctor was beyond understanding and patience.
