At JAS Electrical Contractors we provide full service for your electrical and life safety needs. This includes Fire Safety Planning and the inspection and maintenance of your fire alarms, sprinkler systems, extinguishers, emergency lighting and much more. JAS Electrical Contractors has been in business for over 25 years servicing the Calgary and surrounding area.
Please note, this does not test the sensitivity of your device to smoke. You can safely test the sensitivity of your Smoke Alarm by blowing out a candle underneath the device or by purchasing a can of artificial smoke from a hardware store. Warning: Use caution around an open flame and use proper care when extinguishing the candle flame.
Customer Service, Timeliness and Quality - This was my first experience of having JAS into my home. I'll certainly know who to call in future. My thanks to Tracey and Gregg for listening to my issues and knowing precisely how to manage them. As I write this letter, I don't believe any of us can forget the shock and devastation that was brought to bear by this sudden disaster.
Fire alarm, sprinkler, extinguishers and hydrants must be inspected annually, whereas kitchen suppression system are bi-annual. Fire extinguishers need replacement if they are damaged beyond acceptable standards (dented), if parts are no longer available to service them or once the manufacturer or authority having jurisdiction deems a brand can't be used further.
