Services
Dr. Glenn Guilderson opened Back To Health Chiropractic in 2001 after his graduation from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. He was happy to return to his hometown and offer the people of Lower Sackville and Bedford and Halifax a solution to better health without the use of medications and surgery.

In university in the 1990s I was working hard and studying hard. My chosen career path was in the health care field but I never thought it would be as a chiropractor. My mother changed everything for me because she told me to meet her chiropractor. Just like some people reading my bio right now, I too didn't think I needed a chiropractor.
I was born in Gander Newfoundland. Raised in a military family, I had the amazing opportunity to travel and literally see the world. I met my husband (Dr) Glenn while studying chemistry at Dalhousie University. We happened to be lab partners in one of my chemistry classes and have been together ever since.
I graduated from Sutherland-Chan School and Teaching Clinic in Toronto, Ontario in 1997 and have been in practice as a massage therapist here in Nova Scotia since. I have taken continuing education courses in Myofascial Release, Cranio Sacral Therapy l & ll, Muscle Energy Techniques and Deep Tissue Therapy.

I had pain in my arm and could not sleep. Dr Glenn was able to determine it was due to an old neck injury. I have been able to sleep without pain and feel fantastic since having the treatment. Dr Glenn and all the staff are extremely friendly, helpful and a joy to deal with. I would recommend to anyone. As a matter of fact my husband is now receiving treatment for his issues.

I've had worsening back problems for the past 5 years, with absolutely no luck in relieving any of the pain or treating the problem. At my worst, I could barely lean forward without intense pain. Sitting was agonizing, and I spent a lot of the time laying on the floor. The most I got from my doctor was "take these pain meds and do these stretches", which did absolutely nothing. I was slowly beginning to realize that at 30 years old I was going to have a very long and painful life ahead of me if things were already this bad.

I was originally sceptical of chiropractic care but I can absolutely say my life has changed for the better. I used to be in extreme pain and constantly threw my back and neck & shoulder out. I’ve since been able to work and have free time consistently pain free.
Dr Glenn is excellent and extremely knowledgeable regarding your health. I’ve tested him many times by not telling him where I had pain and he picked it out 100% of the time. His adjustments are clean and precise, I’ve gone to 3 other chiropractors and he is the best by far.

I suffered with worsening back pain over the last few years. My attempts to treat my symptoms failed. Heating pad, ibuprofen, voltarin and finally prescription meds. Nothing worked. I was very skeptical to see a chiropractor but when I couldn't get any relief on my own, I decided to give it a try. I wanted to share a story that I told someone the other day. Over 20 years ago I started to develop back issues. I worked at a job that had a lot of lifting involved. I was in constant pain and was getting very depressed. I had tried every treatment that I could think of with no success. My last option was chiropractic( which I did not know anything about). I decided to give it a try, not expecting any results. I went to see Glenn and after my first adjustment I walked out of his office feeling great and about 40 pounds lighter. Amazing staff! Dr Remi is amazing. I had a trampoline accident that caused me alot of pain on my upper back/ neck area. I could not walk or stand for very long without alot of disconfort , even driving was painful. I had to take advil daily and use freezing lotions to be able to sleep a little bit at night. I had never been to a Chiropractor before but it was my last thing to try. It took me about 2 months of frequent visits to start seeing result. Today 5 months later, I am 100% pain free, I cant beleive it, I am forever thankful!

Dr Remi is excellent! I was a skeptic about chiropractic therapy but I have had back pain for over 2 years and nothing helped! This was my last hope and I couldn’t be more pleased! I have been a massage and chiropractic patient of the clinic for many years. Dr Glenn's initial treatments helped me immensely and continued treatment has maintained my wellness. Gloria provides thoughtful and effective massage treatment. A few years back, I experienced knee issues. Both knees were "scoped" to treat meniscus tears. Post surgery, I experienced a great deal of pain and discomfort standing or walking despite a strengthening regimen at the gym. My only regret is that I didn’t discover Dr. Glenn sooner. I have been suffering for a few years now and can’t believe how much better I feel since I’ve been getting my adjustments.
