Can spaying or neutering help with unwanted behaviors, such as urine marking or aggression?. I've been told that my pet needs a dental cleaning, but things seem fine to me and there doesn't appear to be any pain?. There is no secret, surgeries are painful. But we offer comprehensive pain management, so there is very little pain your pet will experience.

Dr Azrum is amazing and not about the money. my small dog (York Shire) was attacked and biten by a big dog ( with wolf) sunday afternoon. We took him to emergency hostpital in Newmarket and they wanted to operate him for more than $5000. We didn't accept and the day after we took him to his vet Doctor Azrum. He was amazing with us. no need to operate my dog and he did the best . Thank you so much for everything. Our dog is very good and he thanks you too.

I had a minor emergency with my 12.5 year old lab. My regular vet was booked solid and could not squeeze her in. I called North Yonge Veterinary Hospital and they fit her in right away. They were courteous, professional and amazing for taking on a patient that was not theirs without question. They have gained themselves a new patient for the excellent service they provided. Outstanding team!!

I have been seeing Dr. Arzem and his team at NYVH for approximately 15 years now, and I'd never dream of going anywhere else. Even when I moved further south, I never considered registering my pets at a closer facility. The professionalism, customer service, and reliability are like no other. Dr. Arzem is very thorough, kind, gentle, and compassionate, but more than that he's always made himself available should I have any questions or concerns regarding my pets and their ailments. I'd give NYVH 100 stars if I could. Thank you Dr. Arzem and team for all you do and have done for me and my pets!

I have been taking my 2 cats to North Yonge Veterinary Hospital since I got them 7 years ago. Dr. Arzem is by far the most compassinate, caring, competent, knowledgeable professional there is. Dr. Arzem cares about his furry patients and is always there to answer questions, put your mind and fears at ease and to make sure your pets get the best care possible. I love my cats very much, and knowing they are in his care means the world to me. I would recommend North Yonge Veterinary Hospital to anyone who loves their pets and wants the best care for them. 5 stars are not enough, I would give them

My cats have been patients of Dr Arzem’s for ages - as he used to come downtown to my house to do house calls as my cats didn’t travel well. He’s a fantastic vet with a wonderful approach to care and wellness. I’ve since moved to Newmarket and he continues to take great care and is very professional and timely in his responses. His office is also very well managed and is a reflection of Dr Arzem’s professionalism. He’s gone to great lengths to find the appropriate treatment and medication modalities and even recommended a fellow vet school colleague closer to my house when living downtown

I have been taking my dogs to Dr. Gary Arzem for 27 years. I had a little Pom which lived to 17 years, I think she was able to live this long due to the excellent care she received from Dr. Arzem in his staff. I also have brought my Yorkie to him for 10 years. He always took very good care of my dogs and did what was only necessary to make them healthy, happy and a good quality of life. The staff that work in the clinic are very approachable and very compassionate. I would not take my dog to any other vet other than Dr. Gary Arzem. Thanks to North Yonge for taking such good care of my puppies.

Dr. Arzem has cared for 2 of our beloved dogs, Dozer and Gunner, with nothing but love and kindness. We have just recently gone through the terrible loss of our sweet girl, Gunner. Dr. Arzem helped us through many weeks of questions, concern and heartache. He consistently followed up with phone calls and made himself available if we needed to call. In moments of sorrow, you truly realize who the good ones are, and Dr. Arzem is a good one. There are no words that can express how thankful we are for the care and compassion everyone at North Yonge has shared with us.

The veterinarians and staff at North Yonge Veterinary Hospital are great - very caring and they always take the time to explain everything about my pet's health care, every step of the way. I was really happy and impressed with the great service we received. It's a really convenient location, with easy parking and they're also very accommodating with their appointment schedule. In addition to dogs and cats, they also look after exotic pets too! I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking for a vet!
