I contacted CBS after a referral from a friend. Immediate response and work started within days. My major stressor was an autistic son who was not thrilled moving his belongings and having strangers in his space. Wes was very understanding and accommodating by spreading the work into two half days which helped us immensely.
Russ and Carl were absolutely amazing, patient and non judgemental. Over two days they called before arrival , were on time, had a great sense of humor with us and amongst themselves which I must say I found very refreshing these days.
The quote I got was spot on, they finished

I can't tell you how impressed I am with the professionalism and service of CBS Electrical. I had my thermostats switched out. My husband and I could not figure out how to re-set the programs resulting in freezing cold and way too hot when we didn't want to be! After two days of trying ourselves we called CBS. They came out within 2 hours and switched them out for us - thank you Christian! Wow what service! I am and will continue to recommend this company to all my friends and family

CBS did a satisfactory job with our new house build in Nanaimo. The new wiring met code and the first stages were done in a timely manner. However, we were met with a scheduling issue on CBS's side which affected our occupancy date. We also have an outstanding item (kitchen cabinet lighting) now 9 months after the final bill was paid.
We understand pandemic stocking issues have made scheduling more challenging, and our outstanding item is relatively minor however we are now looking into finishing the job ourselves or hiring another local contractor. For the price I paid I would have hoped for

Extremely happy choosing CBS Electrical. They did not balk at doing a very small job, they were able to schedule a job date super quickly (almost next day), and were flexible about the time and date. They provided a quote in advance, did the job, and very quickly resolved a bill issue without hesitation. I would definitely recommend this company and would definitely use them again.

They came out March 25 to our home in Oak Bay to install 2 gfi outlets in our backyard and repair the wiring to a lighting fixture. When the electrician (Hi Ed!) came to do the work on the 25 he was fast, respectful and cleaned everything up. I was worried that my small job wouldn’t be worth their time but they were very responsive and things went smoothly. In a town full of contractors who regularly Ghost you it’s nice to meet one who gets it. I recommend CBS Electrical and will use them again.
