Dr. Mark Pasternak has been practicing dentistry since 1989 after graduating from McGill University in Montreal. He founded Etobicoke Dental Care in 1995.
His interests lie in the rehabilitative aspects of dentistry, and he has completed comprehensive training with the Dawson Centre for Occlusal Studies in St. Petersburg, Florida, The Misch International Implant Institute in Detroit, Michigan, the Canadian Straightwire Orthodontic Program in Toronto, and the Spear Institute in Scottsdale, Arizona.He is currently working on a MasterTrack program with the Bioclear system.

Unless there is a problem which needs immediate attention, you will have a thorough head and neck exam, as well as a detailed intraoral exam.

Periodontal disease is an infection of the gums and/or bone that supports the teeth. It is referred to in many terms, including gum disease, deep pockets and bone loss. This problem can manifest itself at any age, but most commonly presents or is recognized in our 30's. The disease generally is painless and as a result it is generally recognized once an appropriate dental examination is completed by your dentist.

My mother and I are patients of Dr Pasternak for over 2 years and during that time we are very pleased with his professionalism. He is warm and welcoming. The reception staff and nurses are very friendly, caring and makes us feel at ease. We highly recommend Dr. Pasternak to our friends and family. Very bad customer service. Counter lady is very rude. Nobody else gives responsible answer. We went for check up by appointment but they charged emergency checkup . When asked why you put emergency checkup, she hung up the phone. Called multiple times, she just picks up and hangs. They are just rude to another level..... i ll never recommend this clinic. Very terrible service....i ll never go back.

I highly recommend Dr. Mark Pasternak and his consistently professional, friendly staff. Our whole family has been in this dental practice for 15 years. The Invisalign procedure recently carried out by Dr. Pasternak, has greatly improved my bite and my smile. Nothing but the most current equipment and treatment methods are used by Dr. Pasternak and his staff. I would also highly recommend Periodontist, Dr. Kushner who is part of this practice. EDC clinic I been in this place for awhile, I'm so happy with Dr. Mark Pasternak and Dra. Treasure (I hope spelled her last name right pls correct me if I'm wrong) they do a great and excellent job for my teeth. My hygienest always keep my teeth and gum healthy and clean. For the rest of the gang of EDC keep up the good work and stay healthy... 🙂👍

I was very disappointed with my visit. Firstly, my medications side effects have contributed to bone loss. He disagreed. He is a dentist, not an oncologist. I should have spoken up but I was taken by surprise that he spoke to me as if I was uneducated. Secondly, I had to ask for him to help shave down my broken tooth. He should have done is automatically. I paid into ones arrogance on this dentist visit. The receptionists are friendly for a reason and it is called compensation for the rest of the experience. I will now seek help elsewhere.

I have been going to Dr. Mark Pasternak's office for many years, possibly over 20 years now. I have had no complaints about his/or his dental assistants work. I would recommend him and his dental assistants in heartbeat to anyone, he and they are very caring and are concerned about your dental health. My husband and I just love him and all his assistants and front desk ladies. He & they are all very personable and easy to talk to, about anything not just your dental concerns. Love this office. I am never afraid to go, and it is always positive experience.
