Bucksburn Veterinary Hospital always welcomes new clients and patients to our full service vet clinic in Oakville, Ontario. We know you will be very happy with our services. Our Oakville vets and staff are devoted to staying on top of the latest diagnostics, treatments, and wellness programs to maintain your pet's optimal health.
As a new client of our Vet Hospital in Oakville, you can expect our full attention to your pets' needs. When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted warmly, and we'll usher you into an examination room after checking in your pet. We may snap a portrait of your pet for their personal file with us.
Please note that this is not an automatic process. Once we receive your request, we will contact you to confirm a date and time that is as close to your request as possible. If you have a more urgent request for veterinary care, please call the clinic immediately at 905-257-7777. If your appointment has not been confirmed within 24 hours, please feel free to contact the practice by phone to confirm.
Bucksburn Veterinary Hospital was established over 25 years ago when it was converted to a vets office from a boarding kennel. Bucksburn was originally located on the Eighth Line, then moved to a converted residence on Upper Middle Road, in 2004. After 15 years at this location, Bucksburn was moved again to its brand new home at 1915 Ironoak Way in 2019!

They provided a really excellent service. My dog had an issue and I could into get her into her regular vet. They actually recommended Bucksburn, and I am so glad they did.
Really professional treatment, explanations and care. The vet himself even called us the following day to check up on her, which is very impressive.

Amazing staff! We are going to Bucksburn for 10 years with our dog. Now Bubbles is getting older and needs to see the vet more frequently. We could not wish for a better team to care for him! They are always kind, professional and genuinely caring. They will accomodate an emergency, call to check on him, answer all our questions. They will go an extra mile to help your pet. I like this new Vet for my new fur baby and will continue to come . I felt nervous at first because of the lockdown wasn’t about to go inside but they were professional and they took care of Gizmo and the Doctor who seen him was very good and understanding. Yes I recommend this place .

Dr. Glauser and his staff are amazing! Please do yourself a favour and start taking your pets to their clinic. They are professional, kind and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. The staff are always so welcoming to my dog as she is a rescue and is extremely anxious and nervous. They really go above and beyond for the pets they service.

We just had an incredible experience. The Doctor and staff are so warm, loving, and kind as well as so clear and simple in providing advice and asking questions, which is so critical when our pets are ill. I am so grateful for this wonderful place. I will never go anywhere else! I am also comforted by the fact that you can call after hours and the doctor will return your call - you can tell he is so committed to his work to make animals better and to alleviate our fears and worries, as pet owners. :)

I am also very impressed with Dr. Glauser and his entire staff at Bucksburn Veterinary Hospital. I always arrive to a warm welcome! Dr. Glauser is knowledgeable, personal and attentive and I take comfort knowing he is genuinely concerned for my dog. I never feel rushed when I’m there and he often does a follow up call to find out how he is doing. Also, staff build a sense of community by posting pics of their patients (with permission) which only brings a smile to your face. I promise you’ll be happy for choosing Dr. Glauser and his staff for gentle, caring and exceptional patient care

Bucksburn Veterinary Hospital is awesome! We've had both our dogs with this practice over many years and can truly say that this hospital is what "the best" looks like! As a team, they are true professionals who genuinely care about their patients. Dr. Glauser is knowledgeable, reassuring and a trusted veterinary physician. When I was a child, we would bring our cats to see Dr. Robertson at Bucksburn when it was at 8th line. When I got my own dog as an adult, I didn't debate bringing him to any other vet. After Dr. Robertson retired, a few vets came and went that were alright, but once Dr. Glauser came, we have been very pleased. We recently had to put our dog down and Dr. Glauser and Katrina were excellent through the whole difficult process.
We now have another puppy arriving shortly and I've already booked her first appointment at Bucksburn. We live on the other side of town, but they are worth the drive every

Dr.Glauser is incredibly knowledgeable, kind and patient with both 'animal' and human clients! I have been going to the practice since March 2015, as a result of a pet "emergency". Katrina and Meg (Vet Assistants/Reception) have been simply amazing, so kind and compassionate - I couldn't have found a nicer practice (in a lovely setting) to treat my beloved pets! I highly recommend Bucksburn Veterinary Hospital.
