Doggy Day Spa started out in 2002 as a way to support my "dog training habit", as at the time I was taking a lot of seminars and helping out Fionavar k-9 training with teaching classes in obedience and agility. I started working at Pampered Pets, and apprenticed with Pat Berlett and realized that I enjoyed the chance to work with the dogs one on one and show my artistic style.
In 2003 I opened my own shop and now we proudly service dogs from surrounding Olds area and as far away as Calgary, Drumheller, B.C and Fort Saskatchewan. Many of my family members are involved in beauty and have artistic talent(my sister owns a salon(Jessica Nicole the Studio) in B.C and I think this bleeds over into my grooming as well.

For over half a century, pet food manufacturers have claimed that because carbohydrate-based, heat processed pet foods are "nutritionally complete and balanced", they are superior to anything companion pets might otherwise consume. People have become so familiar with this statement, they seldom question it.
