What started as a small company of 12 therapists in 1996, Quinte and District Rehabilitation (Quinte Rehab) www.quinterehab.com in Belleville, Ontario has grown to a team of 55 therapists with 10 office support staff. Therapist owned, the centre is a multidisciplinary company providing Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, Social Work and Dietetic Services to clients of all ages.
Our geography has expanded to include Brighton through to the Kingston and surrounding areas. Currently Quinte Rehab provides over 35,000 community visits per year, to over 8,000 clients in our care. In addition we provide training and education sessions at workplaces throughout the area. The company offices, now located at the Belleville Ramada Inn, have expanded from 500 square feet to over 3000, to support the growing list of therapy services.

Services
This includes pain management strategies for acute and chronic problems, as well as functional mobility assessments. Through the use of exercises and modalities (such as heat, ice, TENS and ultrasound), our Physiotherapists will help you return or adapt to regular daily activities. Consultation and education on strategies to live with physical, cognitive and/or emotional challenges.
Quinte Rehab provides therapy services to children with health concerns to assist them in realizing their potential. Services are provided in public schools, private schools as well as home schools. Therapy services for your child may include Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and/or Speech Therapy.
The Ministry of Health is funding the delivery of Physiotherapy Services to assist eligible clients who require physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis and treatment provided at a community based physiotherapy clinic. Clients recently discharged as an inpatient from a hospital, and in need of physiotherapy clinic services related to the condition, illness or injury for which they were admitted to the hospital.

This varies from patient to patient depending on the scope of your injury. At your first session your physiotherapist will assess the problem and will discuss a treatment plan with you.
