We are equipped to handle a wide variety of medical conditions, including emergencies. Because we perform many diagnostic procedures in-house, we can often give you immediate answers and start treating your pet faster. In some cases, your pet may require hospitalization and further diagnostic tests.
It is very important to keep our pet's teeth healthy, as they can affect many other body systems negatively when not looked after. Here at the Invermere Veterinary Hospital we provide complete Dental Cleanings that include full mouth x-rays to check for any damage or disease under the gum line as well as Dental Extractions for teeth that may need to be removed.
Skin problems are common in dogs and cats and can be caused by hormonal disorders, allergies, infections, or parasites such as fleas and mites. These issues can be difficult to treat and should be addressed promptly. We can often diagnose a skin problem by simply examining your pet. Some dermatologic diseases or conditions do require additional diagnostic procedures to ensure a correct diagnosis.

Firstly the vets that are here are great. Recently had my elderly Moms dog get sick and she passed away and the Veterinarian that took care of her was fantastic. My review is regarding the front end staff which I feel are lacking people skills. I have found on occasion that the receptionist area is not very welcoming nor friendly. Very curt and short with people. Having dealt with another clinic in another town whose front end staff were very welcoming and personal I was pretty disappointed to where I would rather drive there then come here.

Critical: Professionalism
Rushed the dog in with severe ear injury. He was bleeding profusely. The receptionist said they were booked and wont even look at the poor baby. Had to rush him to Cranbrook

Most of the vets are great. One veterinarian made us feel guilty about our pet that passed away. Another time one of the receptionist laughed at me and accused me of being YEARS late on my cats vaccinations when she was actually reading off my DEAD cat that I lost unexpectedly. The receptionists are also often telling you different things which causes a lot of stress.

Ute got my kitty in right away and Mark prescribed the perfect medication and within a week my kittys' eye healed and he could open it.

My puppy was not well at all.
They are such a busy place and we were so fortunate that they got us in a week earlier than our scheduled appointment.
Adrienne, Dr. Kelsey and the rest of the team, thank you!

This is the thing. We’ve had to use this vet a few times for emergencies. The vets are great... the front staff could use a little work. They are nothing but rude, short and insensitive. There is a ‘be kind’ sign on the door and they should really learn to practice what they preach. Extremely disappointed with the way they treat their customers over the phone and in person.

Always providing the best veterinary services! They always do the best possible job helping our animals and are always on-call after hours. Our pets are always treated so well and we can definitely tell. They have also saved our pets lives numerous times - something we are so eternally grateful for. They really care about the animals and their owners!
