At Waterview Animal Hospital, we are happy to provide you with the option to browse and shop for your pet, all from the comfort of your own home! As many of you may already know, our Hospital was formerly known as the Bushville Animal Clinic. In 1998 we joined forces with Dr. Mackenzie and the Miramichi Animal Hospital to form the Waterview Animal Hospital.
That same year we undertook the extensive renovations that would allow us to grow and offer the highest quality health care possible. Our dedicated team is made up of three veterinarians, Dr. Peter MacKenzie, Dr. Randi Hartt and Dr. Sue Bulman; and our staff Carla McNeil, Heather Somers, Cynthia Hubbard, Mary Ann Carroll, Anik Martin, and Vicki Peterson.

Services
With recent changes to restrictions on businesses, we have made some important updates to our operating policies. This includes vaccines, wellness exams, blood work, heartworm testing, spays and neuters, dental services, and more! Continue to offer curbside service for pickup of food and medication (unless you have used our online store and are having your order delivered directly to your home).
Congratulations on becoming a first-time pet owner! Along with the excitement and happiness that a new pet brings into the home, a new pet also comes with a huge responsibility. Whether you recently got a new puppy/kitten or adopted a pet in-need of their forever home, Waterview Animal Hospital is here to help you navigate your experience as a dog or cat owner.
As part of our commitment to quality care, we are pleased to offer laser surgery as a safe and comfortable treatment. We feel that laser surgery provides the best possible care for your pet. Laser surgery involves utilizing a carbon dioxide laser, which produces an invisible beam of light that can remove a precise layer of tissue at one time.
Chemistry and hematology blood tests provide a detailed look at your pet's health from the inside. Chemistry and electrolyte blood tests provide useful indicators of the health and function of your pet's organs and fluid balance. We want to help our clients to have a better understanding of what each component means in each blood test.
Waterview Animal Hospital is a busy and efficient 4-doctor clinic located in the city of Miramichi, NB. The hospital has been working closely with the community and offering gold standard care to our furry friends for several years. This is a well-equipped facility including IDEXX lab, X-Ray, digital dental X-Ray, laser therapy and ultrasound.

Waterview has been our vet for the last 5+ yrs, for both our cat Phoebe and our dog Hank, they are great, fast, friendly, and always treat our babies with such care, perhaps a touch on the more costly side, but 10000% worth it for the ease of access and peace of mind that comes with exceptional service and care, the staff are friendly and the know their stuff, the docs are all super great, especially Dr. Mackenzie who I couldnt recommend enough, your pets are in good hands with these people

*UPDATE*
A year later and I am still dealing with the repercussions of Dr. Harts mistake that he made in surgery with my dog. Because of the instability in my dogs leg, the meniscus is now torn and needs to be operated on again. This will be the THIRD surgery on the same leg. It should’ve only been one surgery. Dr. Hart needs to come forward and admit his mistakes. My dog is the one paying for this.
My dog had Cruciate surgery by Dr, Hart. Only 5 months later my dog needed surgery again for mistakes that Dr. Hart made. The screw that was put in is now coming out. He insulted me, argued with

After having many issues with another vet never returning calls and so forth, I decided to switch to Waterview as my parents had always gone there. They take amazing care of my beloved pets and go above and beyond with their care. They're a little more expensive then my last vet, however their service is worth every penny.
