J.L. Dufour had been recommended to me by a neighbour who'd had a good experience with them. Jules, I was told, would provide personal treatment.
I can't recall if I initially requested a quote from their web site or not. In any event, I called their office and the person answering the phone took down my particulars, warning me it might be a day or two until Jules would be able to return the call. I hadn't heard back after a week. I called again, mentioned the earlier message, more particulars were taken and more sincere promise of a return call was given. Still no response. I called

I spoke with the owner of Dufour at The Home Show and he told me to call their office to make an appointment. I'm standing right there. He was packing up to close and didn't want to bother taking down my name and number. So I did call and left messages with their service...... 3 times over 3 months......this was a year ago. I have never received a response. I also wonder why Dufour spends money on booths and radio ads if they are not interested in prospective customers?

I would love to give these guys a positive review. I mean they came recommended by someone whose opinion I trust. The thing is, after a month of trying to get them to even return a call to come and give me a quote, I have given up. I tried to leave a note on the 'request a quote' web page...nada. I called at different times of the day and days of the week...oh sure, you can speak to a lovely lady who will take your particulars but when challenged with 'why are you taking messages and no one gets back to me?'....well honey, we are just the answering service.
