McCarron's Massage & Wellness Centre was established in 1998 by Helen McCarron RMT to meet the increasing demand for hands on health care. We strive to provide the public with a positive experience with our knowledgeable and professional massage therapists whom are all registered by a governing body in the province of Nova Scotia and are all certified in CPR and first aid.

We offer a unique array of services here at McCarron's Massage & Wellness Centre. Thoroughly trained and experienced, our staff are well versed in both the application and the many benefits of the procedures they perform. Swedish Massage is the manipulation of soft tissues of the body with the purpose of normalizing those tissues.
The below services are also available at McCarron's Massage & Wellness. By bringing together so many experts in their related fields, we are able to provide you with the widest array of services under one roof. This also makes it possible for us to offer our very popular spa packages! Debby Pelly is a Master Instructor with 15 years experience in the aesthetic and electrolysis industry.
Massage is done directly on the skin with lotion. You will be fully covered with blankets except for the area that is being massaged. However if you are uncomfortable with disrobing massage can be done over the clothes and /or you may remove what you are comfortable with. Some people will leave their undergarments on and others will remove everything.
Please inquire at the office as to what the rates are for 30 minute, 45, 60, 75 and 90 minute massages. Rates are subject to change. Blue Cross Online billing is available. Prior to your appointment please call the 1-800 number on your blue cross card to inquire about your coverage for massage therapy and if a prescription from your family doctor is required.
On your initial appointment your therapist will review and discuss your health history to determine your reasons for having massage and determine what your primary & secondary complaints may be, afterwhich time the therapist will need to do an assessement if indicated that may include postural and gait analysis, range of motion testing, orthorpedic and neurological testing.
