At Steeples Veterinary Clinic in Cranbrook, BC we are always excited to see our clients and their pets, and we welcome new patients. Dr. Pat Rice completed his Bachelor of Animal Science degree at University of Idaho in 1969, his Master of Science in Ruminant Nutrition from Oregon State in 1971 and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Washington State University in May of 1975. Pat opened Steeples Veterinary Clinic in 1977 and sold the practice to Dr. Ruth Sawatsky in 2008.
The veterinary services provided by Steeples Veterinary Clinic to clients in Cranbrook include: Pet Wellness & Vaccination Programs, Animal Medical Services, Pet Surgery & More! We have Had Steeples Vet Clinic care for our horses and dogs for 40 years. Naturally that includes new-life care, annual health checks, surgeries, emergency calls to end-of-life care. Knowledgeably and thoughtfully.
Animals just being animals, we've also experienced some very innovative back-against-the-wall treatments with great success.
And they do- Care.
Steeples' Vets and Support Staff extend that very same attribute to each animals' "people'.

Dealing with Dr. Cameron Richardson has been a pleasure. I feel my four-legged family are kindly and compassionately cared for by him. All my questions have been thoroughly answered and I've never felt rushed through an appointment.
I prefer to deal with one vet only as I have found this tends to eliminates misinformation and mistakes regarding all my little guys as has been the case on more than one occasion previously.
Your front staff have been efficient, accommodating and compassionate always, as well as your techs.
I've been given copies of all lab work promptly which is due to Dr. Richardson

We recently moved to Cranbrook and my cat became ill so I started to call around for a vet but everyone was full or not taking new clients. Steeples squeezed us in and treated Katniss. She is back to her normal self and I am thankful for the gentle prompt care she received from this clinic.

I cannot express my gratitude toward this wonderful vet clinic. Dr. Cameron Richardson and his staff absolutely have gone above and beyond for our family and I could not be more greatful. I highly recommend bringing your loved pets to this clinic, the staff are very caring and understanding. The provide excellent care for your beloved pets.

We took our dog Tessa for her first visit to Steeples for her annual shots. The practice is under renovations and I was impressed that everything inside and outside was extremely clean. We saw an Australian Dr. She was very thorough and gentle. Offered great suggestions. I hope when we return we get to see her again. I found the front desk staff seemed to be to busy to spark up a personal conversation as we were new to the practice. I would highly reccomend Steeples Veterinarian!

I was visiting the area from out of town when my dog was suddenly taken ill. Despite not being a registered client with Steeples, the team managed to see him within a few hours of me calling and were extremely flexible and understanding in their approach. I felt like I received service tailored to mine and my dog's need and that they truly cared about getting him well again. If I lived in the area I would register with them immediately.
