Services
We have extensive experience in commercial real estate matters, with particular focus on acquisitions and divestments, financing, co-ownership and joint venture agreements, and land development. We also represent landlords and tenants who operate across Canada in negotiating and drafting commercial leases for multi-tenant, mixed-use office, retail, and industrial buildings and complexes.
We recognize that the single most important transaction for most individuals involves the purchase, sale or refinance of the family home, cottage or residential investment property. We offer practical solutions to the many complex issues affecting their transaction with a view to preventing problems from arising in the future.
We advise clients on the preparation of basic wills, complex (primary and secondary) wills, personal care and general power of attorney documents, and applications for certificate of appointment of estate trustee with or without a will. We assist our clients in planning how their estate will be managed and distributed after they pass away and work closely with them to ensure that their wishes are accurately documented.
Our firm has been an active participant in the community for over 25 years and has proudly contributed its resources and people to help advance worthy causes and to assist the less fortunate. Simply put - we care about our community.
We contribute and help raise money annually for several charitable endeavors, including Hockey Helps the Homeless (Markham Chapter), the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation, Hockey With Heart (Unionville Men's Hockey League) and Catholic Missions in Canada.
