Roofing Contractors Assn-B C
When we first opened our doors back in 1958 our purpose was simple; we wanted to bring together professional roofing contractors, manufacturers and suppliers who are dedicated to the promotion and protection of the public interest in everything that relates to roofing.

Our mission is to give our members the training, technical support and leadership to enable them to offer their customers the highest quality roofing practices, guarantees and business ethics in the roofing and related industries in BC.RCABC established the first roofing guarantee that's backed by both the contractor who does the work and the RCABC itself.
Services
Your roof has one job, keeping the outdoors out. At the Roofing Contractors Association of British Columbia it is our job to make sure that roof is installed correctly. In fact even if you've never heard of us, there is a good chance the roof you are sitting under right now was the work of one of our members.
Can they provide a "letter of clearance" from WorkSafeBC and a "certificate of insurance" from a Canadian-based insurance company?. Are they willing to put all agreements, promises and understandings in writing, including a detailed description of the exact type of roofing system they propose to install, the payment terms, if any pre-payment is required, if any original materials or components such as flashing will be re-used?.
If you're looking for the most comprehensive roofing manual available in British Columbia, look no further. The RCABC Roofing Practices Manual (RPM) is a must for all roofing contractors and specifiers who want to cover their work with the RoofStar guarantee for workmanship and materials. The RCABC Roofing Practices Manual is intended as a general overview only of roofing practices in British Columbia.
Here at RCABC we've worked hard over the past 50 plus years to become the definitive source for professionals within the roofing industry. However, we're also here for consumers looking to educate themselves on what goes into proper roofing design, installation and repair. With that in mind, we've compiled a guide that provides some of this background information as well as useful advice on how to select a roofing services provider here in BC.
RCABC is committed to encouraging safe work practices for our members and the roofing industry. In addition to offering safety training courses and requiring the Certificate of Recognition (CORTM ) for all active members this section provides information on changes to WorkSafeBC OH&S and safety initiatives that are either upcoming or implemented.

Great place to learn, very helpful staff. Friendly environment. Very safe even during the COVID pandemic, things seem to be taking the right direction. Makes the "schooling" portion of the apprenticeship easy and not overwhelming.
