The McCleery Golf Club was formed in 1959 at the McCleery Golf Course in Vancouver, BC. The club was formed to provide an environment of friendship and competition among its members. We play a variety of tournaments from March to November that are both fun and competitive. Membership is open to any males of legal age in B.C. with any playing ability.
Services
Your annual membership fee in the McCleery Golf Club covers the cost of your registration with Golf Canada. Not only is an Official Golf Canada Handicap Factor a requirement to play in many provincial, national, international and domestic club events, it makes the game of golf more enjoyable by enabling golfers of differing abilities to compete on an equitable basis.
Scoring - Each foursome will have a dedicated scorer. Take a picture of the completed scorecard and email or text it to the club Captain (Mccleerygolfclub@gmail.com) and all of the other players in your group for verification, at the end of your round - DEADLINE: end of day of play. Penalty for not sending scorecard: DQ.

Absolutely disgusted with the (lack of) customer service from this course. My husband attended this course with a friend. Ahead of him was a father and (novice) son, who were holding up several players on the course. My husband asked if he could pass the group however, was told no. One of my husband's golf balls came about 50 yards to the group and the father aggressively approached my husband and said he was going to call the police claiming that my husband was attempting to beat him up?! The conversation was so aggressive my husband felt no other option but, to leave. My husband spoke with the

Jimmy Han one of the coaches apparently the PGA golf professional, I somewhat hope that you can:
1) Stop talking about a business opportunity with customers that are not your students
2) Stop planning to steal customers from your workplace for the sake of making profit for your potential business, that is not cool
3) Stop talking badly about the employees at McCleery, I don't find them in any way bad. In fact, it's a pretty good facility
4) Stop talking about how unfair the coaching compensation rate is that has got nothing to do with the customers
5) Stop talking badly about your PGA association

Management running the golf course should likley be terminated. Terrible attitudes and they treat their employees poorly. They consistently underhire with not enough employees or equipment to do the jobs requirements defined when they start. And then they get upset when said job cannot be completed in record time by the employees. Really ugly attitudes as well from some of the Non seasonal staff. Their Union sadly protects them whilst undermining the seasonal staff from ever getting ahead. Try another course out. There are better out there.

McCleery is a great course and has a fantastic range and practice facilities. During covid they practice social distancing and are decently organized when it comes to letting people in to the pro shop and range.
Although sometimes there are plenty of empty mats at the range, sometimes the staff can't see and people need to wait longer than they need to.
The course is awesome and well kept.

Paid this course a visit twice while I was in Vancouver during the summer. This is a public course which is very well take care of. The only problem with this course is the mosquitos. They will definitely eat you alive during the summer months, so bring repellent. The greens were great and always in god shape. For a public course , you can’t ask for much more. Hit them long and straight! The staff very super friendly and helpful!
