Melanie is a graduate from Queen's University's Faculty of Medicine's School of Rehabilitation. She attended University on scholarship and was on the Dean's honor list throughout all of her years of study.

The initial assessment is typically one hour in length and often includes an assessment, treatment and home exercise program prescription.

The causes of dizziness, vertigo and balance can be from a number of areas in your body and often require the assessment of a general Physician to make the appropriate referrals to medical professionals. You can come directly to a Physiotherapist trained in Vestibular Rehabilitation because we will certainly point you back to the Physician if this is required and/or work together with the Physician involved.

I was new to the area, and happened upon Melanie at her clinic. She helped me tremendously with my neck/spine injury. She's highly skilled and extremely knowledgeable in an assortment of care therapies. She helped me heal and set goals for my treatment plan. While there are other treatments available closer to my home, I choose to see Mel because she is extremely professional and knowledgeable. As someone working in construction, I appreciate Mel’s thoughtful approach that understands my industry. Melanie is an absolutely stellar physiotherapist. I recommend her services to anyone and everyone. Professional, compassionate and dedicated. Care is always one on one which her and not an assistant. I had been dealing with painful muscle spasms in my back for a few weeks before I finally decided to seek help. Because I live in Mississauga, I initially went to see a local chiropractor, and then another physiotherapist. Neither were able to help — and this had me kind of worried. I heard about Melanie through a friend, but thought 'what is she going to do that the others couldn't?' Plus the fact that I would have to drive to her clinic all the way from Mississauga.
