They say only 20% of people worldwide actually like the work they do. But what if that 20% became 80%? We see a world where more people are engaged in meaningful work - leading to a better, healthier, and more prosperous society for all. Founded in 1957, the Ian Martin Group has a long, trusted history of Engineering, IT, and Technical recruitment, contract management, and payroll service excellence.
New jobs are posted every day, but you don't have to worry about missing your next opportunity. With your LiveHire profile, we can send you jobs that match your experience & your preferences. You might run the risk of being called a personal services business - a characterization from the Canada Revenue Agency that you definitely don't want.
Ian Martin is a recruitment firm, not an employment agency. We are hired by companies to find them people with the right talent and skills for their projects. Unlike employment agencies, we don't actively search for jobs for you on your behalf. Instead, we draw from our network and database of candidates to fill the needs of the companies we work for.
Our mission is to connect people in meaningful work-but we know there are very real barriers that people face when looking for and securing meaningful employment. The Ian Martin Stewardship Council ensures our company maintains accountability and ethical responsibility to our clients and customers, to the communities in which we live and do business, and to the world, so that more people can have equitable access to meaningful work.
Please see our open job opportunities here instead. We appreciate feedback about your experience or observations - what is going well, and where can we improve? Ian Martin recognizes that our work takes place on traditional Indigenous territories across North America. As a company, we respect the truth of these lands and their treaties, and honour our responsibility to fostering respectful relationships with our Indigenous neighbours.

Will lure you in with great expectations and hollow promises of potential to advance in a career, however after the Ontario equal pay for equal work legislation was repealed they immediately reduced all workers pay back to or close to their old rates. Some workers lost a 49.5% pay increase. Would not recommend.
