Physiotherapists at Avenue Physiotherapy are Fellows and students of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT) - a prestigious achievement that only a select number of Physiotherapists across the country have achieved. FCAMPT Physiotherapists have completed extensive post-graduate education in the area of orthopaedics and have achieved internationally recognized qualifications in hands-on manual and manipulative therapy.
We assess your condition thoroughly, working to identify the root cause of your problem and then treat both the symptoms and root cause of your pain. This comprehensive approach helps us develop the best course of treatment, helping you recover faster and preventing reoccurrences. All physiotherapists use specifically tailored exercise to treat pain and stiffness.
Physiotherapy is a client-focused health profession, dedicated to assessment, treatment, and maintenance of physical function and performance. No. Physiotherapists are primary health care practitioners and you do not need a doctor's referral to see one. Please note that some insurance companies still require a doctor's referral in order to receive reimbursement for our services.

I’ve dealt with avenue physio before Covid and currently during Covid. Before Covid it was an amazing place and during Covid they are even more amazing. They definitely have a great Covid protocol put in place! I have dealt with Adrienne each time and she is great at what she does. She’s is very understanding and listens to every word you say. She treats you as if your a long time friend. I refer anyone looking for physio to go to Avenue.

Love this place! Very modern decor and everyone I've met is very friendly! Nicole is who I was assigned too and she is fantastic! Since the first visit it was like visiting a friend you haven't seen in years. She explains what she is doing, is very thorough and makes sure you are comfortable! Definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs physio!
