This Firm, in particular Mr.R.Kent, Arianna Kent, Marlena, Associates, and the staff are the absolute very best! We had a great experience with Bob and Marlena when we purchased our house. Marlena gave a great explanation of the costs involved from the get-go and the communication up to our appointment was great. During our appointment, Bob explained things really thoroughly. The covid protocols in place seemed great. We all wore masks, were able to stay six feet apart and were told they had sanitized before us and would after us.

My wife and I recently needed help with the purchase of a new home, so we turned to Jeff O’Brien. He was incredibly accommodating with meeting times, as we had our then two month old daughter with us. The first impression of the Combe and Kent office is fantastic. It is located in a heritage house off 124 St and is full of charm and character. Jeff was great at taking the time to go through each form that we were required to sign, making sure that we understood every step of the process. It worked out to be a quick and painless meeting, and we left feeling very comfortable with the home transaction

Would never recommend. Jeff is terrible and incompetent. Hired him in the summer for a simple piece of paper written up by November. Nine months later after many many mistakes made (regarding my son) he still did not get it done. Our communication was strictly about his mistakes he made; if and when he would actually answer the phone.(very rare) I had to hire another lawyer and he had it completed in 2 DAYS! Jeff cost me a ton of money because of his mistakes and I dont mean my retainer. Also, he still had the nerve to keep part of my retainer. Very disgusted with the lack of empathy and work ethic

So we ended up here because our Remax agent suggested my partner and I use Combe & Kent for our house purchase and cohabitation agreement. The simplest way to put it is that we are beyond pleased! We're both young adults who had lots of questions that they were willing to answer and elaborate on if we were confused. All questions we had were answered in a reasonable amount of time as well so I didn't have to stress over that at all. They actually taught us something's we were never even aware of and didn't even think to ask about! We have no problem recommending them

After using a terrible lawyer to buy our first home we used Combe and Kent the second time around. It went very smooth and had to spend little time getting documents together. I will be using them for everything we do going forward as everyone was very friends well being fast and efficient to getting things done.

My experience with Combe and Kent has been a very positive one. I specifically have dealt with Jeffery O'Brien who has been very knowledgeable in the matters he has dealt with for me. He has the ability to withstand the pressure of deadlines and negotiations even when working with unreasonable parties on the other side of the conflict.

Bought a condo w/ parking in August 2014. Hired Mr. Kent of Combe and Kent to deal with all the title transfer.
Mr. Kent represented both the seller and buyer (me), and had exclusive access to all the documentations from both the seller and the buyer. Despite all that, he failed to transfer all the titles (dwelling and parking) when the transaction originally took place in August 2014.
The problem was not addressed until March 2015. I cannot and would not recommend Mr. Kent to anyone.
