Dr. Tashfeen Abbasi graduated in 1996 from the College of Veterinary Sciences in Lahore, Pakistan. He owned a small animal clinic in a very wealthy and lavish area of the city for 10 years, where he obtained lots of experience in animal breeding, training, grooming, and surgical procedures.
After moving to Canada in 2004, Dr. Abbasi recertified his credentials with the CVO after passing state board examination and was licensed to practice in Canada in 2006.He started working in a busy 24hr facility in Windsor, Ontario called Luazon Veterinary Clinic. In 2009, Dr. Abbasi partnered with Dr. Naeem Bajwa at Pyne Hills Veterinary Hospital and became the chief veterinarian.

Amazing, honest vet. I've been going here for years and will continue to give them business for years to come, regardless of where I move. My cat has terrible anxiety in the car and will often soil his carrier on his way to the vet. Pyne Hills staff kindly offers to wash his bedding, every time. You can tell they truly care about the animals they see, and the vets don't price-gouge. They work with trupanion too! Best vet ever

I brought my 2 male cats in to be neutered. Dr. Sami Itrat was very friendly. The woman at the front desk was as well. I feel they went above and beyond for a few reasons including my need to reschedule last minute. Dr. Sami Itrat was also understanding of my budget. I came from over an hour away because their prices were better than any other vet I looked into. Very happy with their service. Thank you!

Best care you will get for your fur baby. The staff here are amazing and polite, friendly and welcoming, not rude. The prices are very reasonable. I came here for my first dog and now we have a rescue and I drive just over an hour to go to this specific vet.

I was visiting New Tecumseth from out of province and I knew my dog was unwell so took him to the emergency vet who unfortunately turned us away and said there was nothing wrong with him.
My dog was super lethargic and unresponsive so I called Pyne Hills, they took us in same day and Dr. Sami diagnosed my dog with a high fever right away. He got him on antibiotics and he’s made a full recovery since. Dr Sami and all the staff at Pyne Hills were patient, kind and took my concerns seriously. They went through all diagnostic options and prices and did not push any treatments on me but let me make
