During Dr. Lo's 23 years of practice, he builds his chiropractic practice around this philosophy by including services from other professionals such as personal trainers and registered nutritional dietitians.
Dr. Tak Lo has lived in Richmond since 1969. He went to Samuel Brighouse Elementary school and Richmond High School. After graduating from the University of British Columbia, Dr. Lo attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, Ontario. In 1994, he joined his father's well established Richmond Chiropractic practice and became a permanent fixture in this wonderful city.
Chiropractic is based on the scientific fact that your body is a self-regulating, self-healing organism. These important functions are controlled by the brain, spinal cord, and all the nerves of the body. The skull protects the delicate tissues of the brain. The moving bones of the spine protect the vulnerable communication pathways of the spinal cord and nerve roots.
A special hand arrangement called a "pisiform contact" is used to deliver a specific thrust at the right place and the right time. Subsequent visits may include motion palpation, with the chiropractor feeling the spinal joints move as you turn and bend. Or, a leg check may be performed, to uncover an imbalance in the neck or lower spine.
Prescription orthotics look like insoles, but are biomechanical medical appliances that are custom made to correct your specific foot imbalance. Orthotics work on your feet much like glasses work on your eyes -they reduce stress and strain on your body by bringing your feet back into proper alignment.

I've been to see Dr. Lo twice now and it's been amazing! I'm currently expecting so he has been very careful and accommodating with my pregnancy during my adjustments. I've gone in with neck and shoulder pain and left with it being completely gone and with tips on how to maintain the adjustments at home (through exercises and stretches). Super happy with his skill and services and will definitely continue to see him!

Just saw Dr. Lo last week. I have been going to him for almost 10 years. He is patient and very professional. I always feel better after seeing him. Thanks for teaching me a stretch for my back in the last appointment. It really helps. His receptionist Gloria is super. She's great with returning phone calls and follow ups. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

Don’t go there, Don’t waste your time!
Worst place ever !!!
The receptionist gave my time to someone else without any notice. When I got here she told me my appointment has been taken! It took me 1 hour drive to this place! Unbelievable!!
It’s very frustrating when you get the notice VERY LAST minute. ( literally... when you arrive at the place)
She even mass up with gender? We confirmed our appointment the day before, she knew my name, my phone number, even my gender. But she gave my time to another female patient and simply said “ I thought that was you????”

Dr. Lo is simply the best chiropractor in North America. I've been to many chiropractors in the US (through work) and Canada, none of them are as good as Dr. Lo. Other chiropractor will give you 3 cracks in 5 min. and you're out the door. Dr. Lo on the other hand, will spend time to examine and solve my problem patiently and professionally ! 10 years ago I had a car accident, my friend introduced me to Dr. Lo. I've been to 4 different Chiropractors and Dr. Lo is the best. He is super friendly and knowledgeable - he takes the time to explain to you what is going on. But most of all after 3 visits with him I lost all my recurring back pain. I go back once every 1-2 months and I've been feeling great since!
