The reason this vet can book an appointment for your pets within short notice is probably due to their lack of skills and confidence in handling a dog.
Our 31lb dog developed an eye infection which our regular vet wouldn’t have been able to treat for a week. We called around and Erie Shores was able to book her in for the following day.
Their initial exam fee is less than other local vets, but they will find a way to make up for that.
$17 for a cone, $20 for a nail trim (everywhere else is $12 or less). I was charged $35 for my dog’s nail trim because she was deemed a difficult patient,

The Dr and staff are awesome. Great place to bring your fur babies. Only reason I didn't give it 5 star is they allow their office cat to roam free thinking all dogs are friendly towards cats. Then look upset when your dog wants to get a hold of the cat. I personally think they shouldn't have the cat roaming freely around the waiting area knowing alot of dogs don't like cats and vice versa.

I would give this place 6 stars! While renting a cottage in the area, our fur baby had an emergency that resulted in frantic calls to Leamington vets, and fortunately Erie was kind enough to see our dog when others told us they weren’t accepting new patients (even when we explained this was a one time urgent visit). From the initial call, staff at Erie Vet were kind, reassuring and friendly, and managed to squeeze us in for an appointment same day. Dr. Hussain and his technician were thorough, and our dog was well taken care of. I would not hesitate to use this clinic if we lived in the area

I live an hour away and will make sure that no matter what happens to my cat, I will only take him to Dr. Hussein. The staff are amazing. Yesterday was my first appointment there, and they fit me in last minute (literally 5 mins before closing time). It's extremely clean, professional, and I was treated so kindly. Thank you to everyone who works there! :)

The doctor is extremely knowledgeable, as well as being kind and compassionate. All the staff are friendly, and truly care about your pets as if they were their own. Prices are very reasonable as well. They seem to take more time to reassure both pets and owners in all situations. I'll be bringing my pets here for as long as they're around.

As another reviewer mentioned previously, our first (and only) experience with this clinic was when they had recently opened. We called to inquire about back only declawing for our cat. We were quoted an amount which was confirmed when I called to book the appointment, only to be charge more than double what was quoted after it was done. He had also given our cat vaccinations, which we informed him she already had when we dropped her off. My dog became deathly ill. I’ve been going to this vet for about 4 years now and I will continue to go until it’s the day I don’t bring my dogs home anymore. The care that my girl received i have no words for. They are the most exceptional staff team. They truly make you feel like you’re family when you go there. The doctor text me through the night to make sure my girl was doing okay. And to save her life I didn’t have to go broke ( I would have !). He is beyond reasonable, the staff are exquisite and I recommend them to anyone I possibly can. Thank you for your incredible care and concern

I normally used one of the other vets in town but when I picked up a stray kitten in the middle of the road, my usual vet would not fit me in for 4 days. Since I have other cats and did not know what the kitten may have had wrong with him, I called Erie Veterinary and was able to bring the kitten in within the hour. I find the staff to be very kind and knowledgeable, Dr. Hussain is very nice and professional. I have since brought my kitten in several times to work through numerous issues related to being outside, which have all resolved thanks to the great care he received in a timely manner. I
