Dunvegan Gardens is a family-owned Grande Prairie business that is operated by Chad, Anna, and family. Dunvegan Gardens has its roots in the Peace River Valley at Dunvegan, where Chad's grandfather began operations with a commercial vegetable garden in 1952. In 1977, the Friesen family purchased a stretch of land on Highway 40, south of Grande Prairie, to establish a retail facility for plants and related items.

Love this place. I buy all my plants here as opposed to the big box stores. They last longer and bloom better

The property is really nice. The stock levels were low as you would expect from this time of season, but they still had some items. The negative part, like all of Grande Prairie businesses is the high price tags.

While they have many options for things to buy I was incredibly disappointed when I went in and saw their own personal display of plants in their pond coated in bugs. Scale and really badly infested with mealy bugs. Near by plants were beginning to be infected as well. Found aphids and spidermites on other plants in different areas of the greenhouse as well.
