Services
The Reid has a long history in Vanderhoof, British Columbia. The original hotel was founded in 1916 and was moved across the tracks to our current location by horse and wagon in the 1950s. Today, we are the region's most beloved dining establishment. Customers come from far and wide to sample our traditional pub fare, house-made burgers, AAA-grade steaks, and fresh seafood.

My wife and I had dinner here and we were not impressed. Both ours Pilaffs were dry, hard and tasteless, both the peanut sauce stir fry and teriyaki stir fry were tasteless and dry I added more sauce just for moisture and neither one of us could finish our food. Service on the other hand was excellent. This Pub does not carry local or other craft beers on tap or bottled. For a Pub the beer choices are very limited.

I like how this place is only for adults and is more than just a bar. The food is pretty good. I always get the bistro sandwich or their tacos. Both of which are pretty reasonably priced. The downside though is that the service is pretty inconsistent. Most often times, it's pretty slow, whether the place is busy or not.

Tucked off the main drag but a cozy little pub. Not much variety on tap but the goose Island ale is awesome. plenty of room for large groups. Furniture could use an update. Service was so so. waitress gave me debit machine then walked away? I had to bring it back to her could have swapped it etc. She did check in on me but didn't seem too interested in her job.

I used to tell people that you have the best Chicken quesadilla in town, well there was next to nothing in it, each section had a tiny piece of chicken in it and one section had NONE. Very disappointed, waited 50 minutes and got two tortillas with a few pieces of tomato, some cheese and a dusting of chicken. I will never eat at this establishment again.
