If you are thinking of purchasing a safe for home or office use, please be wary of advertisements showing jewelry, money, wills and bonds being stored in a $79.00 security box. There are typically three types of safes sold on the market: Burglary Safes, Fire Safes and Burglary & Fire Safes - combined.
Whenever you move into a new location, it is very important to check all the doors for proper security. Exterior doors should be equipped with a deadbolt lock having a minimum size of a 1-inch bolt going into the frame. A good quality jimmy proof lock is also an excellent choice. If you are satisfied that the exterior doors are properly secured with deadbolt locks, it is still important to change the existing keys.
Commercial and industrial establishments are gradually turning towards electronic and computerized locking systems, such as card access, which is also very popular in the hotel industry. From one central computer you can control access and denial to hundreds of doors in just seconds. Alarms have come a long way in the past 10 years.

Gentleman who answered the phone was helpful and was willing to take a look at my lock via Facetime, but the range of price he gave me "depending" on the problem was a bit absurd and hard to understand. It was $30 to come look at the door, $150 to unlock it and then another $150-$300 to fix it plus tax, depending on the problem. It seemed I would have been trapped with an open door and I tried to get a better sense of what the issue was so I Could have some visibility over it and he told me to find someone else. What started as a nice encounter ended up not being one at all.

Issue with a broken lock on Saturday morning. Could not exit my condo. My sister-in-law highly recommended Lister's so I contacted them and the technician arrived within 30 minutes. Lock was repaired. Technician did not push to sell me a new one. The job was a little pricey due to weekend rates, which is a standard throughout the trades.
I appreciated the no drama, very courteous and professional service. Definitely keeping Lister's in my contact list. Would highly recommend.

I received their service last week for a very high price: 285$ cash, which is a rip off in my opinion, and the technician forgot to give me a receipt. I found him very unprofessional. He asked me personal questions such as how old are you? and if I own my appartment. Then he called me twice from an unknown number while I was busy at the gym to drop it off. The next day I called the company to obtain a receipt and the receptionist told me that they would email it. However, I received a call from the technician instead who tells me he will drop it off the next day and then texted me a question mark
