I bought medeco locks from here my years ago. They were installed properly and on time and pricing was around what I've paid previously.

I inadvertently damaged one of the keys that's a bit custom.

While dealing with their customer service/service person via phone and email was a bit challenging it wasn't urgent.

There was somehow a miscommunication even though I thought I'd been explicit and had sent photos so it wasn't exactly what I was expecting.

I called them and the locksmith offered several options to rectify.

I'm the end, a few hours later he arrived

Citiloc is not the only authorised Medeco dealer in Vancouver - there's at least one other - Pacific Safe & Lock. Family run business - http://www.pacificlockandsafe.ca/

I have no association with them other than as a customer.

Last night our front door handle jammed and we couldn't get into the house. Our keys etc were all inside so we couldn't get them to drive and pick up our 1yr old son from daycare. I called citiloc at 4:45 and they were already charging overtime rates. He was at my house by 5:15, popped the handle off within 5 minutes, took 10 mins to write his invoice, and charged us $330. He was probably home with his family before I got to pick up my son an hour late. The fact that any company could charge a 2 hour rate for 5 mins work is appalling and unethical especially when i called before 5pm

So, the mailbox key was gone... Our only one, so we had to get the lock re-keyed.
My husband checked the BBB and called for quotes. Citiloc had an A+ rating and beat the other estimates by $50 to $100. Chris came out the next day and had the lock changed out in less than 15 minutes. Friendly and professional to boot! I hope we don't need a locksmith again anytime soon, but if we do, I know we'll likely use Citiloc again.
