Dr. Bobby Birdi, with the help of his colleagues, founded the BC Perio Dental Health and Implant Centre with a very specific goal in mind: to help patients regain the ability to smile, chew and speak comfortably, either through providing the highest quality of dental implant, periodontal, or prosthetic treatment possible, or through enabling fellow dentists through focused, practical education to perform a variety of dental procedures.

If you are missing a single tooth, a dental implant with a crown is the most natural-looking way to replace both the lost tooth and its root. A dental implant looks and functions like a natural tooth while providing many advantages over other types of tooth replacement. Unlike a bridge, a dental implant does not require the adjacent teeth to be ground down in order for a crown (cap) to be placed, and a crown on the implant is non-removable.

Everyone here was so incredibly kind.
I came in pain, terrified and feeling hopeless with my condition. Everyone’s kindness and genuine care, made my experience absolutely wonderful. Dr. Zokol took the time to explain everything to me in a way that I was able to understand. He was also able to make some adjustments to my teeth that relieved my pain immediately!
He printed out a scheduled plan for implants, so that I could go home and process privately.
His assistant Courtney was just so sweet and fun to talk to also… everyone made me feel important and heard. They made me feel excellent

I have hesitated writing this for more than a year. The office staff are lovely and the hygienist wonderful and goes the extra mile with suggestions for breathing techniques and self care. However...Dr. Birdi's work was far less than satisfactory for me. Years ago, he did a gum graft. The healing process was painful and I am left with what looks like a big lump of bubble gum. More recently, twice, he tried to do an implant. The implant did not work. In the process, he sewed my gum to my cheek, which resulted in excruciating pain. When the implant then failed, he removed it. He then did some

The only place I trust for my dental care. Dr. Birdi truly cares about YOUR interests and the longevity of your teeth. I’ve never met someone who can simultaneously be a master of his skill and somehow manage to make me feel absolutely secure and calm when addressing my periodontal needs. His staff are attentive and considerate, swiftly resolving any questions or concerns I have had. My husband needed some dental work and I took him here also. Dr. Edher, Courtney and team are not just exceptionally skilled and consummate professionals, but genuine and caring people who are passionate about what they do and providing the best care for their patients. Not only do I now look forward to my appointments (Who looks forward to going to the dentist????) but they have truly changed my life through their treatments. I am beyond grateful for this place. Finding Dr. Kleinman 16 or so years ago was a stroke of good fortune for me. When he joined Dr. Birdi at BC Perio, I thought things might be less personal and somehow, a bit less friendly. Instead, the former staff and new staff have blended so smoothly and so efficiently, there is nowhere else I want to be when it comes to any and all dental concerns. Can't recommend the staff highly enough.

My mom came to Dr. Birdy with a full mouth implants she got overseas. Her periodontal disease was uncontrolled with severe bone loss and implants that were side ways and had infection around them. She couldn't chew anything, had pain and her life quality was affected by it. He operated on my mom for 10 hours, removed failed implants and put… in new ones to accommodate bone loss. Today, a year later my mom has the most beautiful smile, she can eat anything she wants (something she hasn't done in 15 years) and her confidence is back!
