The PEI Golf Association is the governing body of amateur golf in Prince Edward Island. It determines Provincial policies and, in conjunction with Golf Canada, sets standards relating to the game on behalf of its members.
In addition to conducting PEI's Provincial Amateur Championships, the PEIGA also conducts junior development programs, operates a club exchange program for deserving juniors, course/slope rates member courses, provides handicap services and rules clinics, facilitates Future Links & Golf in Schools, and many other services to amateur golfers and member clubs.

If anything happens to your equipment, if you damage a motorized golf cart by accident, or if an errant shot breaks a window, Golf Canada Incident Protection helps get you back on the course by reimbursing your replacement costs or damages. Equipment Protection - Golf Canada Incident Protection provides up to $2,500 reimbursement for damaged, lost or stolen equipment*.
The Beautycounter Senior Women's Tour is an opportunity for women over age 50+ to experience golf at some of the Island's most beautiful courses while meeting new people and having fun!. Each event will follow the Golf Course Guidelines provided by the Chief Public Health Office to ensure the safety of players and employees.
The Atlantic Golf Championship is an annual event conducted by Golf Canada and the Atlantic Provinces. Each province sends a team of their top 20 players. Players who qualify to represent PEI are awarded team clothing, a travel subsidy and a weekend of comradery.
Those who win their division at the Atlantic Golf Championship are awarded an exemption to their respective division at the following year's Golf Canada National Championship with travel assistance and a player package from the Association.The Prince Edward Island Golf Association has quota spots for the Golf Canada National Championships.

Errol Nicholson was the long time PGA of Canada Head Golf Professional at the Green Gables Golf Club. A key builder for the sport across the province, he served on the P.E.I. Golf Association Board and had a special interest in junior golf. He and his family generously created the Errol Nicholson Junior Golf Fund with the P.E.I.
The Golf in Schools Program has been developed to deliver Physical Education learning outcomes through the sport of golf. The initial element of the program is focused on assisting elementary school teachers (specialists and non-specialists) with and without a background in golf, to plan and deliver quality learning experiences using golf as the vehicle.
