Even after the decision has been made, there are logistics to be taken care of - from searching for a new home to finding a way to move your belongings from one side of the country to the other.
I've been in the moving business for over 25 years. I started Armstrong International in 1994 and have seen the team grow to become the most respected personnel in the industry. Our staff is our greatest asset, what we are most proud of, and continues to be our strategic advantage. This is why our employees are motivated and extremely professional.

Rob Smith and his partner Tamara came to do a long distance move from Oakville Ontario to Rothesay New Brunswick. They were extremely careful with all our furnishings, everything was labeled and the truck was packed in a couple of hours. These guys were on point. We had other quotes to move and were told to expect to wait at least a week for our stuff to arrive, but when I asked Ron he told me it would be there by Monday morning ( we moved Friday) and it was! They almost beat us to the house as we drove down. They were awesome to work with and I would highly recommend Armstrong moving to anyone

Positive: Professionalism, Quality
Fantastic moving team helped with our move! Shawn Cook was the crew leader, and Chris Smith, Derek Smith and Ryan were part of the team. My husband and I were blown away by the friendly service they provided, while also working very quickly and carefully with our delivery. We would highly recommend them!

Armstrong moving was great to work with for our recent move and the movers at both destinations were very polite, efficient and hard working. From the administrative side Cheryl Caissie has been very professional and responsive. She has been very helpful and accommodating when we had a hiccup for our delivery date. I would definitely recommend Armstrong moving to friends and family.

Armstrong is one of the companies we have narrowed down on. We have received quotes from major liners and AM is quite competitive in their quote.
I am aware of all the negative reviews and really hope ours might be the first 5 stars review they receive on yelp.
Will update as we move forward.
Packing Day Updates: 23rd July 2019
Team: Jason and Kevin
We were informed a day ahead about the arrival time. 8:00 am
The packing crew was here 15 minutes ahead of time and waited in the truck.
They rang the bell at 8:01
Jason and Kevin are packing Avengers, to say the least. Packing was complete at

If I could give them ZERO stars, I would.
I relocated across country for my company. My company uses them as par for the course. They seemed terribly slick like snot with 'courtesy visits' and phone calls. Well, it amounted to nothing if the crew is poorly trained. Did I get the worst possible crew!!
The car was relocated by them too. Car arrived badly dinged up in two spots. Apparently 'the straps came loose". No, you dont use straps on th hood of the vehicle. You dropped something on my car!! They also lost one of the couches/benches and various items arrived damaged

I am changing jobs and moving across the GTA. My new employer (a large organization) recommended Armstrong and has a corporate discount. Given the expense of moving, that was appealing. When I called and went through the details, the rate seemed good and the company seemed to ask the right questions. However, as the booking processes proceeded, red flags emerged.
When my quote arrived, the rate was (24%) higher than what I was initially told on the phone. I asked why. They said I was initially quoted a weekday rate but was moving on a weekend, which was higher rates. That's odd, since I

We moved from Canada to the US with them last year, and I'm still traumatized. I've moved about 10 times in the last 20 years, and this was my second international move, and it was the worst experience I've ever had. After they picked up our stuff, they became unresponsive, no updates on delivery and finally we were told the last possible day in their window was the day we were getting our stuff. Then they hit us with extra fees because they didn't realize we were moving to a city (what?).
Finally, on the move date: the movers called me confused because they were in the wrong

***STOP*** Why are you even looking at the reviews? DON'T EVEN CONSIDER THIS GUYS. They might have better prices, but the service is a nightmare.
Several items damaged, lost and broken.
First, we scheduled the move. They told us it could take anywhere from 5-15 business days to arrive (longest timeframe ever, but okay). They picked up our stuff a Thursday morning in Virginia and everything was okay until here, except they hadn't charged a thing.
Our stuff was on its way to Toronto, and it was scheduled to arrive on Monday. It was Friday afternoon and they call us to collect the payment
