Sublimation ink is used to print on polyester and polyamide (lycra, nylon) fabrics, commonly used for sportswear and outerwear garments, along with any mixed synthetic fabrics with a minimum of 65% polyester fibres (though 80% and above yields a better print result). Sublimation is ideal for polyester sportswear because the ink does not sit on top of the fabric like screen-printing or direct-to-garment printing methods.
Textiles are perfect for digital workflows that sublimation offers, particularly repeating pattern prints. In the "fast fashion" world, trends come and go as quickly as they are consumed. Digital production affords more customization and design flexibility, and can be easily produced on-demand. Do you only have small production runs?
The beauty of sublimation is that custom designs can be easily printed and utilized for many home dcor items, such as pillows, curtains, wall decorations, and furnishings. Our sublimation paper can also be used to print on specially coated tiles and counter surfaces. Compared to traditional printing methods, sublimation is a cost-effective way to print one pattern or many different patterns without the requirement of high volume printing.
With high speed printing, clients can benefit from a faster turnaround. We also understand the unpredictability of the fashion world - some prints sell better than others. With sublimation printing, production adjustments are quick and easy without additional costs. We offer polyester poplin, jersey micro, and mesh micro fabrics, but you are free to bring your own fabric to test and sublimate on.
Print a yard of fabric with our specially curated colour charts to use a guide when creating artwork to anticipate approximate colour output. Currently there are no permanent or part-time positions available at EcoDigiTec Sublimation Inc. Please check back again! I have dealt with at least half a dozen clothing screeners (for lack of a better term) across the lower mainland over the years and sooner or later, they have all seemed to make critical mistakes due to carelessness or passing along the wrong message due to the use of middlemen.
Cindy has by far been the best in terms of quality, consistency, timeliness, affordability, and the ability to take on difficult projects. I honestly cannot say enough good things about her and the Eco-Digitec team!
