Canadian Engineering & Tool
CET is your turnkey solution, meeting all the demands required in the automotive tool and die industry. CET has the equipment, latest software and hardware technology as well as a vast number of years of experience to handle everything from the smallest, most intricate parts to the largest, most demanding ones in our facility.

The newest process in the automotive industry, this involves hot forming and die cooling Bare Boron and Usibor material, causing a transformation of the material properties to be martensitic. The advantage of hot stamping vehicle structural components is the exceptional as-formed ultimate tensile strength (1,500MPa) and the complex geometries that can be formed.
Services
At CET, we believe that our long history in the automotive tool and die industry is a testament on the strong business virtues laid out by our original founder. Established in 1922 by William E. Tregenza, The Canadian Engineering and Tool Company Ltd. continues to be dedicated to quality, innovation, and meeting the needs of our automotive manufacturing clients.
At Canadian Engineering and Tool, we offer a complete turnkey quality tooling solutions to meet the needs of your business. Our experts handle the complete process in-house from start to finish, and can offer you not only the benefits of our years of experience, but also the latest technology, software, and processes, as well as the capacity to create dies of all sizes and levels of complexity.
At CET, we offer a turn-key stamping and die simulation solution for your business. With our modern technology and software capabilities, we will perform simulations of your tooling designs and incorporate your materials to ensure an accurate assessment before beginning design and build. This process includes checking for a wide range of problem areas in a part before the die design and build begins.
After completing the build of your die, our tryout facilities allow us to ensure that it meets the highest standards of accuracy based on your needs. We will ensure that your dies meet all of your requirements before putting them into full production and delivery. Our tryout capabilities include presses of up to 4 000 tons and a 100 x 180 bed size.
Quality Assurance is at the heart of everything we do. We go beyond providing just the fixture gauge readings for the parts we cut by providing our clients with CMM Reports from white light as well as blue light measurements. We want our customers to know that the parts we manufacture for them are going to fall within tolerance each and every time.
