Guys don’t waste your time, first time in my life seeing this kind of customer abuse, unprofessional, rude stuff, after reservation is done by your end you have to wait abnormal amount of time for someone to reach you out and confirm reservation, you’ll spend hours on the phone calling nonstop for reach them. finally when you asking what’s going on and why, they cancelling your reservation destroying your vacation plans, I will make sure all my friends will leave you negative feedback!!!!!!!!

We stayed at a cottage named Deer Run. we arrived at the cottage on Tuesday evening. After getting settled in we wanted to communicate our disappointment with the upstairs bathroom as it's in terrible condition.
We noticed hair in the shower drain, the shower curtain had an awful smell, the base of the tub is stained blue. and no shower mat was provided. On top of that the toilet brushes have not been replaced in multiple years and are foul and the general cleanliness of the bathroom is not satisfactory.
Given the photos that were provided, it's clear why there was no photo of the shower. As

We stayed at a cottage on Lake Bernard (Cedar Shores 147) and rented through Ontario Cottage Rentals. The girl we dealt with was very professional and responded immediately upon emailing her. She kept us up to date on everything as it transpired (covid related). The cottage was exactly as shown and absolutely spotless! We were very impressed and enjoyed ourselves immensely! We would definitely book again with Ontario Cottage Rentals.

My experience with Ontario Cottage Rental has been AWESOME. We have been booking with OCR for couple of years now and never had any issues. Staff is very responsive and helpful (specially Lorrain) who explained all the details very well before & after I booked the cottage and even when I had to reschedule my stay due to COVID19 lockdown. We rented Idlehour for a long weekend in March 2021. Our trip was originally planned for after Christmas and had to be moved several times due to COVID restrictions. OCR was incredibly helpful and understanding! When the trip finally happened, it was a much-needed escape for our family. The cottage was clean, well-appointed, and charmingly decorated. We would definitely return and wouldn't hesitate to go with OCR for future trips and destinations.

Twice this summer my family has booked a week stay at a cottage from OCR. And both times, after we paid the deposit, OCR has contacted us to say that the reservation is cancelled. We got the deposit back, but in this current climate it is next to impossible to find cottages at the last minute. OCR gave us only 2 weeks notice this time. What is the point of giving a deposit if OCR can just cancel when they want? What if they had decided 2 hrs before we arrived? I certainly wont be risking any further rentals through this site as they are just not reliable enough to actually follow through with your

We rented Cedar Shores Cottage (September 5 to September 12). The cottage was absolutely perfect. It is beautifully appointed and the owners have thought of everything. The garden is stunning and the view is beautiful. The grounds are extremely private and very quiet. I would not hesitate in recommending this cottage for a getaway. You won’t be disappointed. It was also a very pain free booking process.

Stay away from this company. Horrible customer service. Poor description of properties, staged photographs. Ie. a picture of one small patch of non weedy swimming area. working security cameras on property spying on us, Last but not least security deposit not returned. In all fairness , my 50 pound child leaned on a glass topped coffee table and the glass broke into 3 sharp slabs. Thankfully he was not hurt and we are happy to pay to replace slab. 87.00 is the cost i was able to get quoted. They allow you to bring dog and charge a pet fee. But charge you for vacuuming after the fact. However we
