Maamiwa counselling services are offered in a variety of modalities, including DBT (Dialectical Behavioural Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), and narrative approaches. Family therapy is also offered from a systemtic, cross-cultural perspective. We are also experienced in couples therapy utilizing Gottman techniques along with EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy).

Services
Individual therapy (sometimes called "psychotherapy" or "counseling") is a process through which clients work one-on-one with a trained therapist. We are skilled at offering individual therapy using a variety of treatment modalities, from affirmative, narrative approaches to more structured interventions using a DBT (Dialectical Behavioural) framework.
