Centennial Animal Hospital
PLEASE call us first. If it is determined that your pet needs to be seen by a veterinarian, we will schedule an appointment. Some cases may be suitable for a telemedicine option, instead. When visiting either of our locations, please CALL US to let us know you have arrived. Payment can be made via Interac e-Transfer, VISA or MasterCard.

1 DO NOT visit our hospital if you are experiencing ANY symptoms of illness. We want to continue to provide excellent care for your pets, and in order to do so, we need to stay healthy. 2 If your pet requires veterinary care, we ask that only one HEALTHY person brings your pet to the appointment. If this is impossible for you, please let us know and we will work together to find a solution.
Services
Centennial Animal Hospital was established in Bracebridge in 1981 and, along with Gravenhurst Veterinary Services, was purchased by Dr. Mary DeCaire in 1982. In 1983, the hospital was moved to the current location from the original building at Fife's farm. Originally, the practice catered to both large and small animal clients but has been exclusively small animal since 1995.
We strive to provide high quality medical care to help our patients live longer, healthier lives. We will provide the best possible service to our clients and educate them so that they may be fully informed partners in the lifetime of their pets. We will treat our clients, our patients, and each other as we would like to be treated; our clients and colleagues with respect, honesty and consideration, and our patients with kindness and compassion.
As a new client of our practice, you can expect our full attention to your pets' needs. Our service will be provided with courtesy and respect. When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted warmly, and we will usher you into an examination room as soon as we have one available. Our goal is to see all of our clients and patients on time.
Can my pet see the same veterinarian/registered veterinary technician each time we visit?. Can I call and have you fax or email a copy of my pet's rabies certificate and proof of vaccinations to the kennel where my pet will be staying?. What precautions/measures do you take so my pet doesn't feel pain related to surgery/injury/infection/chronic disease?.
We book by appointment only, at scheduled times throughout the day. Please call our clinic to book your pet's visit with us. If you experience an emergency situation, with your pet, please call our hospital at 705-645-3077 and you will be put in contact with a veterinarian. If it is outside of our regular office hours, you will be directed to the Huronia Veterinary Emergency Clinic, 391 Dunlop St W, Barrie, Ontario (705) -722-0377).

Thankful for the staff at Gravenhurst Veterinary Services, especially my friend Jill, for making Dobbys wellness exam a good experience 🥰 for a tiny little dog like Dobby, the Vet is a scary place. But Dr. Bruhn-Moore, Jill, Krista and the rest of the staff made sure Dobby had nothing to be scared of 🐾💛

My parents used Centennial for years and they passed on a good twenty years ago. I now have two cats. The vets at centennial have been awesome and have taken them on even with their issues. After one cat/ kitten got an infected eye the vets took us asap. A shout out to Dr. Duder and Dr. Robyn. Many thanks

We were camping and my one year old dog's eyes, snout and throat started to swell shut. They told me to call my home vet (3.5hrs away) or go to Barrie (1hr away). I called another vet hospital in town and was helped immediately.

The staff here are great with my dog who has some unique challenges. He’s been doing very well and actually let them cut his nails last visit, which is a huge improvement! They are so compassionate and I know we get the best care going here!

There are no words for how grateful I am after being away for a few decades and returning to Bracebridge Centennial with my 4-legged kids. Going through some nightmare situations with other clinics was the reason I returned and I wish I'd done so sooner. The staff at both your clinics have been wonderful and compassionate, kind and patient, prompt and considerate. The energy is so much better than what I experienced prior to returning. In my travels I have learned good and caring vets/staff are not always a given so it truly is a gift to be back in the hands of Angels! Kitty kisses from Ema, Tulip

I have been dealing with Dr Duder for over 20 years with first our dog Venus then our cat Maya now our rescue May. In each case the staff have all been absolutely amazing and compassionate and I would never go anywhere else. The level of care and love they have shown my fur babies has been amazing and continues with my beautiful anxiety laden girl. Thank you for all you do.

They took all four cats. In one visit. Expensive for their yearly checkup and rabies shots. 650.00 for all four of them. Included meds for the eldest who probably has renal failure but we will pass on the blood test as it’s 270.00 more and he’s an old man. Not looking to sink hundreds into our adoptive cats. They keep the contact free thing really well w a phone call from the vet for the update. Not sure how it would all work if u didn’t have a cell phone.

Our girl has been going here since 2010- when we first brought her home. She had many of medical problems including cluster seizures that were uncontrollable- with the help of all the staff, proper care and the… right medication, Sasha has been seizure free for many of years! Recently Sasha had a scare and required emergency surgery just 10 short days before her 11th birthday! I can not even begin to express how scared we were- but she was in great hands. Phone calls before, during and after surgery were made as well as many of days after to check in on her! The kind caring and compassionate

My poor boy needed to cross the rainbow Bridge. This was his vet so I called and they were very compassionate even with my crying on the phone. Since this is covid times we couldn't go inside so they gave us a blanket to pick a spot we wanted outside to lay in the grass and they came to us. (Which I kinda liked better then being in an office anyways) at the end of it all they even brought us out a big zipper canvas bag ( I call it a body bag) with his name on it with little hearts beside his name. They were great at explaining everything, and sincerely compassionate and caring (I was a mess) they

Ms Florida charmed g.o.d. a couple of years ago and eventually adopted him and mom.
In preparation for the annual migration South, mom checked Ms. Florida's medical records and realized the family boss needed an injection or two to bring her current.
Separate seating areas in the large bright reception reduce stress for four-legged friends. Quick, friendly service from professional staff means quick-quick in and out.
There is a wheel chair accessible ramp. Hours are listed in the pics.
